Need Running Boards

I might as well join the parade. Red or satin. I guess I can use any color and paint to suit.

Sidepipes vs. running boards

If you like the look I can send you the parts list and drawings to build your own.

For $ 1,300 you could have two sets of beautifully painted OEM running boards.

$1,300 ... That outrageous, even if it includes the brackets and overnight shipping.

I have two sets of new satin boards in storage. Unfortunately, no boxes, so a bit of a challenge to ship. I'd need to build some boxes.

I intended to put them on the two Signature trucks, but then 2008 came along.

Both Signatures have new homes, and I still own two sets of new boards, complete with all the brackets and bolts.

I will echo that $1300 is outrageous. I would sell one set for $600 plus shipping (and brokerage if they go to the US), probably hang on to the other, in case I ever buy another purple R without boards.

Let me know if you are interested, and I'll investigate what would be involved in getting them across the border.

Be careful with EBay auctions. I purchased a set several years ago at a price that was too good to be true. They were from an alternate supplier, no brackets, no bracket attachment points moulded into the plastic, no non skid.

In other words, they were junk.!!!!

If anyone from Wild Bill's is checking this thread, you have the serial number wrong on your home page. - It's 24111, not 24411.

I have a set of blue running boards with bolts and brackets for $600.00 plus shipping. The brackets have been customized, lowering the running boards and pulling them in closer to the truck. The rubber tread has been removed when i bought them new from the dealer to have them painted. So the rubber is still brand new and never seen the light of day.
