I am also in need of 1 of these my ssr has been in the shop now for 35 days waiting on them to fix it or give up. GM corporate calls me 1 a week to see what the status is. I am told they should be releasing 93 of these modules sometime this week. I can only wait and hope...

My roof door module has been broken since June 17 and my last conversation with Chevrolet was that they have no idea of when the module would be available. Chevrolet says to be patient!! 90 days and growing! Unbelievable!!!

I just got my roof module installed in my truck Wednesday. So either they are available now or the dealer is not being truthful with me....
The bill is for $737 and some change. After 37 days in the shop with no loaner and very little feedback on the situation. I also contacted GM Corporater at least 1 time a week. I am looking for some help from GM on this...
2 modules were "replaced" body control module and roof and window module. 6 hours time charge also. They did give me an "employee discount"
Anyone think this is resaonable?
I went through the same thing they couldn't give me a status on the part. Hard to believe in this day and age of desktop computers and the internet and network computers.

Talked to Chevrolet (Detroit) last week and was still told that no roof door modules are available and no vendor has been found. They (Chevy) have evaluated modules from two different vendors and both failed the testing. "Be patient and we will eventually find a vendor" (Parked since June 17th) At least now the dealer says Chevy is picking up the bill (if they ever supply the part!)
I sent a PM to BYERS and one of his parts department people followed up with a PM. They did have roof/door modules for 03-04/05-06. In fact I ordered a spare 05-06 module. They had both in stock just last week. It would be worth sending a PM to BYERS and seeing if his dealership can get the one you need for your SSR.

this is a private source that i talk to on a daily basis, he has asked me not mention his name, I respect that, so I can tell alot about many items that are or not coming for the ssr. ie the gauge packages. I do sell alot of item on ebay under domesticparts .

the one you needs is 270.70 plus freight, this is gm part with a gm warrenty
Here are the list prices for the two Roof/Door Modules based on the invoice I recently received when I purchased my 06 SSR RDM (at a nice discount below list price):
03/04 RDM 15134308 List $270.70
05/06 RDM 15828426 List $260.29
There was a mistake with my order. They were going to ship me the 03/04 module when I ordered the 05/06 module. That's why I have both list prices listed on my customer invoice.
