I am also in need of 1 of these my ssr has been in the shop now for 35 days waiting on them to fix it or give up. GM corporate calls me 1 a week to see what the status is. I am told they should be releasing 93 of these modules sometime this week. I can only wait and hope...

My roof door module has been broken since June 17 and my last conversation with Chevrolet was that they have no idea of when the module would be available. Chevrolet says to be patient!! 90 days and growing! Unbelievable!!!

I just got my roof module installed in my truck Wednesday. So either they are available now or the dealer is not being truthful with me....
The bill is for $737 and some change. After 37 days in the shop with no loaner and very little feedback on the situation. I also contacted GM Corporater at least 1 time a week. I am looking for some help from GM on this...
2 modules were "replaced" body control module and roof and window module. 6 hours time charge also. They did give me an "employee discount"
Anyone think this is resaonable?
I went through the same thing they couldn't give me a status on the part. Hard to believe in this day and age of desktop computers and the internet and network computers.

Talked to Chevrolet (Detroit) last week and was still told that no roof door modules are available and no vendor has been found. They (Chevy) have evaluated modules from two different vendors and both failed the testing. "Be patient and we will eventually find a vendor" (Parked since June 17th) At least now the dealer says Chevy is picking up the bill (if they ever supply the part!)
I sent a PM to BYERS and one of his parts department people followed up with a PM. They did have roof/door modules for 03-04/05-06. In fact I ordered a spare 05-06 module. They had both in stock just last week. It would be worth sending a PM to BYERS and seeing if his dealership can get the one you need for your SSR.

the one you needs is 270.70 plus freight, this is gm part with a gm warrenty

The roof/door module that most people have been looking for are one of the two part numbers listed.
Others are looking for 15134326 which was superceded by part number 15787512.
The 15787512 shows three descriptions:
Electrical - Body electrical - Console - Module, ssr 2003 - 2004
Electrical - Body electrical - Console - Module, ssr, auto trans 2005
Electrical - Body electrical - Console - Module, ssr, auto trans, w/o accent pkg. 2006
That seems to be one the cannot be found, but that is not the one in the roof storage area (from what I can tell).

I have a deal with the vendor that made the soft saddle bags for GM, they comes as a pair with all the hardware. will take 60 days for isuue of the po and dollars from me. Like to know how many people would be interetsed. they would be 275.00 per pair. The Gm orginal number of 17800248 was priced for 1 bag. I did not know how to post this the right way. So I could some help . thanks

You can only do business via PM (private message) unless you become a supporting VENDOR. If you want to do this, hit "User CP" in bar at top. Hit "paid subscriptions" under "miscellaneous" on left. Select "Supporting Vendor". The price is $150 for 3 months, but it will allow you to post addresses, phone numbers, and links to web sites. It will also give you 1000 PMs storage as opposed to the small amount you currently have.
You can always PM Marc NY for further info. He and BUFFY are the 2 active moderators. The owner of the site Troy is not usually on here.

I have the same question, what part number (related to this thread) costs around $450? The list price on all part numbers mentioned are $270 and lower.

This whole thread is confusing with all these part numbers and prices.
It beginning to look like something available or isn’t available between several suppliers/venders.
Who do I believe?
The best I can state is these two part numbers ARE available:
03/04 RDM 15134308 List $270.70
05/06 RDM 15828426 List $260.29
I purchased one of the 15828426 Roof/Door Modules just two weeks ago.
The other two part numbers I posted were related to another fanatic that was stating they needed a roof/door module, but the part number they're looking for wasn't the same as the two I posted. The part they're looking for has a different description as well.
Now you know everything I know on this topic.
