for sale - leather covers for shifter balls (both 6-spd and auto)

I hand make these black leather covers. Their main function is to keep the ball from heating up in the sun and burning your palm but they also look great and dress it up a bit. I added some colored brads just for show, but can make them plain (bradless) too. There is an elastic ring around the bottom so they can be slid over the ball extremely fast and easy, either when putting them on or removing them ( the 6-spd owners may want to remove them at the mechanics so the tech can find reverse ). The top brads will not scratch the ball, I have applied a protective piece on the underside. The pleats fit perfectly between your fingers as you grasp it. The covers fit tight and do not slip around what so ever, they hug the ball

Prices include shipping to the U.S. and Canada. If your address is in the U.S. then pay in U.S. funds, if your address is in Canada then pay in Canadian funds (the exchange rate balances out with the different shipping costs). The first cover is $40 and additional covers are $35 each. For international addresses just add $2. Mail your check to:
Sandra MacKenzie
P.O. Box 12043 RPO Murrayville
Langley, B.C. Canada V3A 9J5

pm me with the following info please:
1) your transmission - 6-speed or auto (the covers are different)
2) how many covers you want
3) what color brads, or bradless
4) your mailing address

the following 3 posts show the different colored brads as well as the auto cover with purple brads (now two choices of purple) on my shifter ball. And more auto pictures are in post #10, bradless 6-spd and blur
auto, black auto in post #25.

These 3 pictures show the bottom and fit of the cover. The fourth pic shows the look of a cover on my auto shifter ball

purple brads on auto shifter ball.
I personally do not want the button covered but will include the leather disk I cut out so you can choose for yourself to glue it on or not

P.S. only the girls get the heart-on brad!!

I just added pictures four and five, a much better ultra violet color match I think. So now you get a choice of purple's

Mine sure came in handy yesterday. I had the truck in service so I took it off before I dropped it off... when I went to pick her up, ouch! I put the cool cover right back on and all was good again. Thanks Sandy!

yes Frank, I'll be bringing some assorted types and colours. I guess I should email those attendees and give them a heads-up. That way the "for sures" will get theirs for sure and there's always the Car Show special pricing

Thanks waysouth6speed for the thumbs-up comment. She's a beaut

Texas Reunion next week

and there will be several fanatics at the Texas reunion with the covers on, so if you are going there and want to wait and see, you're in luck. The trucks to look out for are waysouth6speed, Doug Allen, hdflstf, Bigwave. Also, there will be a (bradless) 6-spd cover for their raffle. Hopefully , Focks, OP, Smokey, and BlueSSR will have received theirs and be boasting about them too.

I do now
here are bradless, red, chrome, yellow, and purple
I just ran out to the truck snapped them on and clicked a few pictures. Ended up with the chrome brad cover on and it looked so good I left it on

lesson learned : always have extra covers in the truck ------- I just popped out to get the mail, top down and took the long way home when I caught up to another SSR. We chatted at the red light but when it turned green we decided to pull over at the donut shop. They wanted to know more about what I used to get my truck so shiny and so on. As we're talking and they're looking at my R, they notice the ball cover. Well, they loved it so much they bought it Gotta love that. So now I know, always carry some spares!!!!!

all the covers are now pictured in posts # 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, and 25. Pictures are nice but you really do have to feel them to love them. Tight fit, no slippage

I'm back from the weekend show and shine and had a blast. Even those "bare balls only" guys came around after having a test drive with the cover
