Wanted: Chrome Guages

I am in need of the "Chrome" outside air guage that goes in three guage cluster. My vehicle is an 06 SSR with the chrome package. Dealership broke the bezel in gauge and dented the rim around guage when they had the dash out of truck fixing the AC unit. To date they have been unsucessfull in finding either the individual guage or a complete guage assembly with all three guages. Can anybody help? I will buy the complete assembly if anyone has one. Thanks.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped me on this and get the correct information out there.

As river rat and Doug pointed out, the actual bezel around face of gauge is satin, NOT chrome. The housing holding the three gauges is chrome. Thanks for the advise guys. Once I looked closer, that was exactly the case.

A special BIG THANKS to Jeff(SSR6SPD). He sent me a gauge at HIS expense, didn't even ask to be paid for postage. What a great fanatic. I have bought stuff from him before and have always been very satisfied with everything purchased. Everyone should buy something from him just to help a generous guy.

I remember seeing a complete chrome package on ebay recently...if I remember correctly, it was pretty pricey. Have you checked there? Best of luck.

Just a thought

You could have your present one chromed and then put "Dakota" or other Digital Gauges in it. At least then the outside air temp. gauge would be useful. They also make a nice transmission temp. gauge too as a replacement for the "Torque" gauge.

When someone says pricey, they mean $700.00 Chrome with gauges and $400.00 with no gauges. Good luck. Even the colors with gauges have gone over $400.00.

e-bay has them...I paid $350 for mine a few years back...now they are $400-$700 depending on color.

Sounds like I need to stop doing chrome exchanges for $100 here....

Not trying to hijack the tread, but this topic has me curious. Were some of the aux gauge packages actually equipped from GM with chrome bezels around the gauges if you had the chrome interior package?

I have the new gauges for that, they are 43.00 plus freight for any of the 3 gauges, they are complete with the black retainer on the back and the nuts to set in place

Yes, the bezels and the guage enclosure which held all 3 guages was chromed.

Just a heads up, the bezels on the chrome package on BOB are satin, not chrome. Only the gauge housing is chrome.
