Mike - I think Terry was looking for one of the plain badges that Mark NY had made special in early 2006.

Terry - There were only 500 of the special (Non-FPR) badges made for the SSR Fanatics and almost all were installed on trucks in 2006 when we got them. There may be a stray available..... good luck in your search, buddy.

Regards

I don't get it...they have over 600 FPR badges in stock, but there are owners who pull their hair out trying to get parts to keep their truck on the road. No wonder GM is in such dire trouble.

Seattle Terry, try contacting Ed, QWKSSR on the Forum. He makes a badge that you may be happy with. Can custom the wording etc...see my attachments, about the same size as the 'Original" badge. top is the GM model, bottom is Ed's work.

I'm new to the forum. Would someone explain how, where to go to PM? Can
someone with a free membership even do that? Thought I sent 2, but didn't
get any replies. Can you send from a thread or have to go to the mailbox?

Are they GM style, cost, ship. & ins.? I'd like to get an FPR badge for my `06
, but don't think it falls in range. Anyone know what VIN's incl. the FPR
badge? I think all should have as it was the last year. Were they already on
or left up to buyer to install? Wonder if prev. owner kept it?

Make a couple of more posts and you should be able to pm...I think the minimum posts before you can pm is 4-5. You can pm from a thread, mailbox or Members List which can be found under Quick Links...top right side (in the menu bar).

FPR badges were for the 06's produced in 06 after the Christmas/year end holiday...hence the Final Production Run. All were factory mounted and US versions were noted on the build sheet as well. Serial numbers posted in a previous thread are as follows: 23287 is the first Final Production number. 24112 is in GM's Heritage collection. Total 826 SSRs built from mid-February to mid March 06.

You won't get much support from the site re: installing a FPR badge on a non-FPR vehicle...it's considered a misrepresentation of the vehicle. Another option is to have a similar badge custom made saying what you want...some have their vin #, Special Edition SSR etc on the badge. One of our own Fanatic members makes them. He also sells them on ebay.
