If it weren't for bad luck...... Ordered a Tuff Stuff 8299A chrome alternator back in February. First one had the wrong pulley. Received the second one last week and it had the correct clutch pulley that I wanted. Installed it this weekend and it immediately spun the pulley off the alternator shaft. Got the engine shut down before the belt got hung up on anything. Pulley appears to have stripped threads. Alternator shaft threads appear fine. Waiting for the next replacement and hoping that third times the charm. Anyone else had any problems with the chrome Tuff Stuff 8299A alternator?

I KNOW that my rig is right with what I have .... Hey everyone is intitled too their own opinions and choice(s) to the amount of AMPS that they want or NEED for their Alternator too put out.... Last I checked, I live in the U.S.of A 
and I will go with what I know from EXPERIENCE here in the cars that I have built and wired and have driven as a DRIVER and my cars that come out once in a while on the street.... Like many here do their SSR's ..... That's cool ..... Don't get me wrong here.... But..... My SSR was bought too modify and drive everyday
