The 100th Birthday of Chevrolet is scheduled for sometime in the year 2011
1pirate has brought this to my attention
I have e-mailed Chevy Club Connection to gain information of this celebration. Where, when and how long this event will take place They will reply as information becomes available.
I know we have a few National Events going on now....
Springfield (yearly or every two years-unknown at this time?)
Woodward Dream Cruise (yearly)
This is an event that we should consider attending. What do you think? I know it's a few years off, but as we all know time does fly by Should I pursue it or just let it go?

That sounds like something to plan for. I made the MV run this year, but wasn't able to schedule off for Spingfield. This should give us enough lead time to plan for the event, and stock up on refreshments....

It still a ways down the road and I'm guessing our membership will be going down a little ... but hopefully it will go up with even more members then we have now in the coming years.
I'd hold off pursuing it until mid 2009, early 2010. Please do keep us posted as info becomes available as I'm sure a large number of us should/would attend.

I only posted to see what type of interest we would have for attending this event. Wouldn't consider putting a package together until I have all information in hand. Chevy Club is aware that I would like to obtain information as soon as it is available.

It looks to me like there is enough interest to keep it in our thoughts until we know firm details. At that time we can let you know if thoughtts and feelings change. I for one like to e able to make plans a bit in advance.

Hi Debbie from Springfeild!
If all the different clubs (ie. Corvette, Chevy Truck, Impala, Tri 5 and SSR) clubs got together for one giant event that would be some thing to see. Keep us posted babe.
