'11 Laughlin Friday Run

Early arrivers! If you would be interested in taking a short run out to see some petroglyphs on Friday afternoon, here is some info.
Betty and I will take a dry run on Thursday and check the road and the short hike and have some info, probably at the front desk at your check in.
This will be a seperate run from all the other posted activities. I just thought it would be interesting, as I have not seen any petroglyphs other, than those outside Las Vegas. We are planning on being back at the Aquarious around 4:00PM, in time to get ready for the M&G. The departure time is flexible.

I did put 12:30 on the agenda Fuji...but that can be adjusted, just as I put 12:30 on the agenda for the Oatman Run on Saturday.

Anyone who has never been, Christmas Tree Pass and Grapevine Canyon is worth seeing and experiencing. Grew up going here often with my family, short day excursions out of Needles (home)...good memories

Thanks, Randi! I'm always flexible on departure times. I'll have the desk hold some copies for those interested in going. We planned on returning to have plenty of time to get ready for the M&G. I wanted to take a dry run for timing and road conditions so nobody suffers any paint damage on the way there, if there's any chance of that. We're always open to side trips down the Road Less Traveled....

I will leave a few maps with the front desk on Friday for anyone wanting to catch up due to missing the departure time.

Update

Took Run to Grapevine Canyon today.

Picture #2 is the road out there. It is washboard, 2mi @ 15mph.
#4 isthe destination is bottom center of pic.
The waterfall is about the size of a backyard unit. It rund a couple hundred feet and then just disappears...??
We did get DUSTY.

The hike in is just over 1/4mi slight uphill all the way. The whole trip was just over an hour from the Aquarius. There will be time to clean up Friday before the M&G.
