2009 International Rally
Got the registration form printed and ready to mail as soon as I get a PM back from Johna with the mailing address. Mapquest shows 13 hours & 4 minutes, 843.17 miles. Probably will stop some where along the way. Mapquest route is mostly I-35. I will probably take US 69 down thru Eastern Oklahoma ( Muskogee - McAlester - Durant) to Sherman, TX then hook up with I-35 south of Dallas.

Is this billed as an "International Rally" because everything is bigger in Texas?
Of course everything is bigger in Texas but we're hoping that some of our Canadian friends will join us and maybe those in Europe or Australia will be able to make it as well. Hopefully we are giving everyone enough time so they can plan to attend.

flying in
Those that cannot make the drive and would rather fly in,
San Antonio would be the closest commercial airport and would allow you time to extend your stay in the river city or you could also fly into Austin, extend your stay, and see more of the greener part of the hill country.
Aiport codes for each respectively are SAT and AUS.

Perhaps the new "Bridge " from Australia will be completed by then. The SSR's can just drive over and come straight to Texas.
Still not sure about the European bridge. Will keep you updated!
