Checks are in the mail
NM Rambler here - and I ask that you all pardon my ignorance about the entire process for this rally. We just went to the Colorado Summer Rally - and it was considerably less complex than this one. Anyway, the checks for the registration/dinner/breakfast, etc and the t-shirts are in the mail.
I'm not planning on buying any patches (at least not now) and would like to know can I just send a PM to Lloyd Simmons for the two nametags I'd like?
Still learning in New Mexico.....
but ready to party

Not nearly as complex as you might think, just a bigger rally than normal and it takes a lot of folks to get things done so we try to split the work. We have had 100+ trucks years 2-4 w/over 50 year one.
Feel free to PM lloger (Lloyd) for the name badges but if you have badges from Colorado that say NM Rambler you probably don't need new ones.

Thanks - no name tags from Colorado - so I'll PM Lloyd. Thanks. Now, I have our reservations at the Aquarius too (Wednesday night till Monday morning).

Oatman, AZ and the donkeys
Just in case any of the folks get into town early (we are arriving Wednesday night) - we are going out to Oatman sometime on THURSDAY - January 28 - so Robin can get her donkey 'fix' for the week. We were in Oatman in 2008 and saw a Mini-Cooper caravan go through - it would be awsome to have an SSR caravan stop in there too! I don't know whether you can attach photos to a message here - but if anyone would like to see a few pictures (we have MORE than a few, however) of Oatman, AZ and the four legged residents, please PM me with your email address.

I sort of figured it would have been a 'regular' destination. But, with both my wife, Robin and I being transplanted Maryland/Virginians - every time we go to Laughlin, we also stop in Oatman. We don't ever get tired of the donkeys or the scenery.

We've already made our room reservation and the regristration fees are forthcoming. This will be our first Laughlin Run and we are both really looking forward to meeting so many great people, sharing a drive, a beer, and some good discussions. We can hardly wait....
