Whirlwind Day...
After the twister yesterday, today was a whirlwind of activity... Started the day with a Woodward loop and ended it on Woodward. In between we drove almost 200 miles, stopped for some great pictures in Port Huron (where Alyssa critiqued a brides gown...) and had a wonderful BBQ dinner at Chief Bob and Ann's house. They were terrific hosts! If anyone left hungry, it was their own damn fault! Alyssa made a new friend and ended the evening bombing around with Bob and Ann's daughter in her go-cart.
After dinner we made our way back to Pontiac to see Woodward at night. WOW!!! We got about 3 blocks in over 30 minutes. When they shut it down, they don't kid around! Cops EVERYWHERE! Barricades popped up and we had to head for the hotel.
Here are a few pictures from the day:
Ann's wonderful cake...
SSR's on Woodward...
Tailgate lunch...
A little shade...

Whirlwind Day...
And some more...
This guy hung out in my rearview mirror most of the day Jim and Mindy R good people!
Guess who?
They're everywhere! They're everywhere!
Since there were no "primer" SSRs, we found a stand-in...
Had to get a shot of HRG close behind me... Didn't STAY that way, did it...

Who's is the with the red trailer? How have I missed that trailer in past events, or is it new? Is it a real SSR body or is it a replica? Are these available somewhere or is it one of a kind? Either way I love it, but need one in Blue.

Good morning Fanatics
While it's not like me not to post pictures already.....I do have house guests and will until Monday.
I have some great photo's of yesterday's run and of the fantastic BBQ the chiefbobs put out for the fanatics.
A confirmed tornado did touch down north of the Thursday's meet & greet at 22 and Hayes.
I have many hands helping out this morning for set up on the lot....trying to suck down a few cups of coffee then heading to get ice and will meet everyone there. My lack of sleep has continued
After Woodward's celebration today.....It will be party time for me...that is if I can keep my eye's opes
BTW the founder of the Woodward Dream Cruise passed away this past Thursday....you can read about it on the WDC's Official Site.

That trailer is amazing! I think I saw one shot of it from Maggie. When I saw it here, I made a beeline for it He bought the back half of a wreck and then fabricated the front with a real hood. When he was following me on Woodward it looked like someone in a Redline was tailgating him! It is an amazing piece of work. Pictures do not do it justice!
Great pictures, it was so nice seeing everyone and thank-you bob and ann for a wonderful bbq dinner, it was the best. I hope the rain stops for you all today

My money is on TNSSRMAN too.
A few years ago he was looking for a set of OEM Exhaust Tips for a "project" trailer he was making.
I guess that means a little bit of The Doophus made it to the WDC this year.
Those pictures are fantastic.
Looks like Thursday and Friday were nice weather days.
I was looking at the weather for Detroit now and it looks like there has been rain all day.
A weather bonk from two blocks west of Woodward was wet and raining.
