2011 Laughlin "The Dam Thing" Poker Run
Hi Everyone,
Below are the details for the 2011 Laughlin "The Dam Thing" Poker Run:
"The Dam Thing" poker run is a 4 - 5 hour loop from Laughlin to Chloride, AZ, over the new Hoover Dam bypass bridge, around the Hoover Dam, through Boulder City, down through Searchlight, NV and back to the Aquarius.
Our 1st stop is in Chloride, AZ, an old mining town, at Yesterday's restaurant for a quick bite to eat. Yesterday's has a very unique menu featuring deep fried pickle chips, spam bites, PB&J sandwich with marshmallow fluff and world famous burgers just to name a few. The town folks are looking forward to seeing the SSR Fanatics.
2nd stop Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge. You'll have an opportunity to walk the span, 880 feet above the Colorado River, and take pictures.
Leaving the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge viewing parking lot, we'll drive over the Hoover Dam to the AZ side, turning around and back across to NV.
Going through Boulder City, down through Searchlight, NV and back to Laughlin.
Attached is a map of our route. Please post if you're interested in participating in this event so I can have a count for the restaurant.
We're looking forward to a wonderful afternoon cruise.

Put me down as a Maybe... I'd like to... just depends on if a wanna take a nap on Saturday afternoon ... Heck.. I don't get many days off... might just indulge!
Put Smokey & BluesSR on the list.... of course I haven't asked Smokey yet and he may decide to go that little bitty ball around again..... but hopefully he will be up for the run. If not, I will hopefully find someone who needs a co-pilot! This sounds like FUN.
