What town or city in Texas will it be held in?:liebe011:

Frank,
Looks like a town we can take over. Looking forward to the details. Looking at it on Google Earth the first question which comes to mind is "How di the Eisenhower Interstate and Military Highway System manage to bypass the home of it's inventor/namesake?" but I am sure the answer will be forthcoming.:jester

I look forward to it.
If there is something that I am capable of doing from 550 miles away to help, please let me know.
I probably won't be retired by then, so I will be interested in the dates that are decided on.
We can stop at Abilene and see the library on the way there. It is only a few miles out of the way.

It is probably too late to go fishing for stripers. I always have to make sure I spell that correctly or I get myself in trouble.

What time of year are you looking at international festival?
Texas could get a bit too hot for my pale skin, we had 20 degree c ( 68 f) here today, and I got sun- burned !!

Since neither has replied, allow me...
It is scheduled for October 4th-7th in Denison, Texas (north of Dallas). It's the best month for events here, such as festivals and fairs.
Proooobably warmer than 68F in the daytime, but some of our best weather is in October.
