Randi right Marc.
Look at it this way, between now and 23rd of January, its 130 days so just put as low as $2.50 to as high as $5.00 (or more) aside each day.
You can do it.

Dear MRS. ABADSSR,
Go ahead and Surprise Marc with His Anniversary Present from you. Don't tell him you are mailing registration and booking reservations at the hotel.
It'll be something he never has to dust off and will make use of for years to come. Not to mention the priceless friendships both of you will take home with you. Definitely one of the Best runs you can barge in on. Heck, I grew up in San Mateo, and if I still lived there, I'd be all over it like white on rice!!
We'll meet you there...
Fuji & Betty ( & )

Also, perhaps it is the title which is different than before and also the one who posted it...who is River Rat? I thought artsmart and c1trob ran this thing. Only a guess as to why per your above question.
I hope we will be able to make it but too early to tell, had to last minute it last year too...

Not River Rat, but River Run...Rob and I invested in another account so we could both access it without having access to the other's personal stuff.
Maybe it was a bad call on our part. Also...changing the title of the run somewhat to include "River Run" - Laughlin opens the door to having events in other areas of the Colorado River, not just Laughlin - like Havasu or maybe even Lake Mead area.
Guess we could repost differently for those who don't quite understand what's going on.

Thanks OP, for your thoughts.
Randi aka artsmart aka 1/2 River Run
Changing the name of this event might be a problem for some folks. At least make Laughlin the beginning of the name so people will remember Laughlin fun! ie: Laughlin -- 4th Annual SSR River Run
I've talked to people who do not know about Laughlin because they don't correlate the event with new title?????
Certainly don't have that many folks signed up yet???
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for your insight, we have just changed the name with LT's help.
Thank you Glenda, and Linda. Looking forward to a larger turn out now.
