Thursday, August 14th
Meet & Greet Pizza Party @ River Bends Park in Shelby Township MI
Bittersweet-Covered Shelter from 10:00 A.M. to dusk ($200.00 Fee) Please use it!!
Volleyball/Horseshoes are available including a Picnic Shelter and Flush Toilets
Pizza will be served between 5:00 & 6:00 P.M.

Please allow time We have the shelter from 10:00 A.M till dusk, Alcoholic beverages are allowed. Plan on packing a cooler for the day or whatever time you arrive to Michigan and spend the day here. This park is beautiful and I'm sure you will all enjoy it!!!! Consider lunch (packed in your cooler) while here and around 5:00 -6:00 P.M. Pizza will be served from Jets for dinner.

How about a cruise to Erma's Original Frozen Custard Ice Cream afterwards...Voted best in Detroit

I am not worried about that....the snow will be gone It has snowed in late September here but never August

Had a ball at Woodward last year. For those who haven't been there, it's an incredible event. If you can't drive there, planes work pretty well.

We were treated really well last year, in spite of driving a rental HHR.

Chevy Club has received my requests for this years WDC...still in negotiations for what they will be allowing These things take time....
I submitted back in January but have to be patient until they are ready to notify me.

Trying to locate a hotel and Banquet Facility together is not an easy task for the area we want to stay in. There is only one that can accommodate us with both and they are way to expensive. However I have narrowed it down to a hotel and seperate banquet facility... one last visit to be sure I didn't over look anything before announcing the finals!!!!

Arrival Time: 6:00 P.M.
Dinner Served: 7:00 P.M.
Departure Time: 11:30 P.M.
At this time the cost per person is $32.00 (includes Tax & Gratuity) Open Bar- Your meal will contain 3 meats, 2 vegetables, 1 pasta, 1 potato and includes Tossed Salad, veg tray w/dip, Fresh Fruits, Assorted Relish & Cold Salads, Fresh Baked Rolls & Butter, Deserts, Coffee, tea, milk, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Cookies. ( I will finalize the meat,vegetable, pasta and potato choice closer to the event date). This cost may be lower due to funds from Chevy Club Connection and after meeting a 60 person minimum fee.

A raffle with prizes will be taking place at the Banquet Hall and if money allows entertainment to!

I will be doing a pdf format for fees before the WDC Event Date Arrives this will include cost for the pizza party, banquet fees and pre-sale of raffle tickets.

I have now on hold 20 rooms at the Residence Inn Marriott in Warren Michigan which includes a full Buffet breakfast.

I will receive the final e-mail from the Residence Inn in a few days with all the detail information for you to go ahead and book your rooms.

I have viewed the rooms and they are beautiful offering all the comforts of home including a full kitchenette

A car washing area will also be set up.

I may reserve a room for 1 night .....so I get a chance to party with all of you

The rate is $84.00 per night + Tax and includes a Full Breakfast Buffet. All

One of the famous spots for the Woodward Dream Cruise. They will not take reservations..(be aware we may have to wait in line) I took wildcat66 here last year the day after the WDC and we had no trouble getting in. Please let me know if you are interested in meeting for lunch at Duggans. I will start a list under this section in post #1.
