They have given me a better rate then last year of $75.00 plus tax includes full breakfast buffet. Car washing will be available as well as they are allowing the Meet & Greet Pizza/Sub Party to be held in the Gate House for Thursday night
I did request the lower level this year and Lisa said she will do the best she can in accommodating us.

Per our discussion, I have outlined below the rooms we are holding for your event:
20 rooms are on hold @ $75.00 ea + tax including a full breakfast buffet (from Thursday 8/13/2009 thru Saturday 8/15/2009 end date of 8/16/09)
It is our understanding that your guests will be paying for all of their own charges while at the Hotel. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card as the Hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured by one of these methods.
Reservations for the Event will be made by individual attendees directly with Residence Inn by Marriott reservations at (800) 331-3131 SSR Homecoming’s .
All reservations must be received on or before Thursday, July 16, 2009 (the “Cut-Off Date”). At the Cut-Off Date, the Hotel will review the reservation pick up for the Event, release the unreserved rooms for general sale, and determine whether or not it can accept reservations based on a space and rate available basis at the SSR Homecoming’s group rate after this date.

I have scouted out a location that will be good for lunch before heading to Woodward to cruise. One of the famous Spots for the Woodward Dream Cruise Duggan's Irish Pub. They will not take reservations..(be aware we may have to wait in line) Please let me know if you are interested in meeting for lunch at Duggans. I will start a list under this section.

Finally picked up "lady Di" our new to us 2004 black and white cutomized SSR - a surprise for my wife's retirement. We have stopped by in the past and would like to be at WDC with the SSR crowd this year. Count us in, although we will be commuting, and not sure how many events other than Saturday we will attend. Thanks and let us know if any other info or paperwork is required.

Pat & I will bne at the "Meet & Greet" on Thursday, "lunch & cruise" on Friday, and WDC on Saturday, but you have us down as "res made". If that is for the hotel, we didn't make reservations. We'll be driving in all the way from Belleville each day.
