WE'RE GOING BACK TO THE FIFTIES...AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEME FOR SATURDAY BANQUET IS "FIFTIES" - CASUAL "FIFTIES" DRESS IS ENCOURAGED!

TOP FLOOR PARKING AT THE AQUARIUS IS SAFE AND SECURE...PLUS, IF YOU ARE STAYING IN THE CALIFORNIA TOWER YOU CAN USUALLY SEE YOUR TRUCK FROM THERE.........AND ALL THE OTHERS - NO OTHER SIGHT LIKE IT!!!

Friday Meet & Greet/Check-in/Late Registration- 6:00 pm Pacific at the Mezzanine Banquet Facilities, Arizona Tower, Aquarius Casino Resort. Pick up your goody bags, t-shirts, run information, and have a bit of pizza and cocktails with other SSR Fanatics.

Saturday Show & Shine/Check-In/Late Registration - 8:00 am Pacific at Findlay Motor Co. in Bullhead City, AZ. Just a short distance from the Aquarius (maps will be available Friday at the Meet & Greet). Voting begins at 9:00 am Pacific, pick up your ballot from the registration table near the DJ tent. Lunch will be provided by Findlay Motors. Corvette Awards will be given out during the Show & Shine but SSR Awards will be reserved for the banquet Saturday night. 50/50 raffle will also be held at the Show & Shine along with several SSR owners selling goodies...check them out! If you plan on doing a swap and sell, please bring your own table.

Saturday Mini-Tech Session - Immediately following the Show & Shine. Minor adjustments needed for your truck, please contact Rob Munter (AC Rob) via email RMunter@cox.net to see if what you want done can be accommodated during the tech session...performance tunes and speedo repair is available.

Saturday Side-Runs - On your own at this time. Should caravans be organized at a later date, it will be announced during the Show & Shine. Otherwise, maps to Hoover Dam, Oatman, Lake Havasu City will be in your goody bag, along with a map of Route 66 murals recently painted in Needles, a short 20 miles south of Laughlin...A GREAT PHOTO OP that Fuji would be willing to lead if there is enough interest.

Additional Shirts - If you didn't get a chance to order additional tees, there may be a small selection available for sale at the Show & Shine.

Blind Cap/Hat Exchange - Bring a ball cap from your town and/or your local GM/Chevrolet dealer. Turn the cap/hat in to ARTSMART during check-in. Sometime during the banquet, all those bringing caps will have a chance to grab one from a pile...sight unseen, you might get your own back!

Saturday Banquet - 7:00 pm Pacific for cocktails, 8:00 pm Pacific for dinner on the Arizona Tower Mezzanine; Aquarius Casino Resort. Show & Shine Awards will be given out at approximately 9:00 pm Pacific for those not attending the dinner - come on in and see if you won. Winners not in attendance will have their award mailed to them following the event. Be prepared for some of Gerry's (Bondo Princess) dance steps and games - she does seem to be able to create a lot of fun!!! Raffle prizes and dancing 'til midnight with Gene Stafford - our Laughlin DJ.

Long Distance Award - If you are driving your SSR 200 + miles you may be in the running for the LDA. Since no one is scheduled to arrive from way up north or the east coast, the winner will probably be from somewhere in the west. Track your mileage!

Sunday Farewell Breakfast - 8:00 am Pacific, Arizona Tower Mezzanine, Aquarius Casino Resort. Early breakfast to give you an opportunity to say good-bye to new friends and old. Some will be leaving shortly after for a run to Las Vegas and a race track event Fuji (yellow bear) has put together.

DONATIONS - Please notify lloger (Lloyd) and the Bondo Princess (Gerry) if you have any items to donate to the 7th Annual Laughlin Run Raffle. Members' donations always helps to make the event exciting and a success. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

CAP EXCHANGE - Participants interested in a blind cap exchange - please bring a new Chevrolet cap from your Chevy dealer to check-in. Caps will be bagged individually. Sometime during the Show & Shine or Banquet all the bags will be put into a pile and all who have participated will be able to grab one...hopefully, it won't be the one you brought

Try to get one from your local dealer that has either the dealer's name or town on it.

Thumper and I will be there, missed the first Rally, won't miss another.

This is the Granddaddy of West Coast Rallies, always a great time!

Trying to get Head Full of Sh!t (hdflstf) to attend, we'll assume our spot at the end of the bar after the banquet.....along with AC Rob, Thumper and I.

I am planning on attending, but since I did not pick up a reg form and there is not one posted here, it will have to wait 'til I get home. Not sure if it will be one or two, that is up to my Sister-in-law.

EDIT: Looks like two I'll do the form and bring payment to Barstow.

I think that's what gave Gerry and I the idea to do the Fifties again for Laughlin...maybe we should do it every year, its usually a lot of fun!
