Bowling Riverside Resort-Laughlin

I called the Riverside Resort they have open bowling all day Saturday. First come first serve....However Amy said "if the group was large enough she would allow us to hold some lanes"

There are 34 Lanes

Now the time? I looked at the event schedule, I would like to make the run to the London Bridge or Oatman. I am unsure of the time it will take to do this????

I thought 2:30 P.M. would be good to bowl......need some help since I really don't know what's going on

Need to know how many want to bowl?

Manager @ Riverside

Just spoke with the manager....if we get 20 or more persons he will allow me to hold the lanes for 2:30 P.M.

It's $4.00 a game and $4.00 for rental shoes if needed

what Friday night plans?
My thoughs are once we check into the room at 3 or whatever, we can head to Riverside with a stop at In N' Out for dinner then head to Riverside or the other way around.

It's not that simple.....because of Leagues and tournaments at the bowling alley....we need to reserve a spot if we want to bowl. The only time they have open bowling is on Saturday after 2:30 P.M or early morning on Saturday.

We don't have to do it......many showed interest that was the only reason I pursued it. I'm not a golfer.......I would rather bowl.

I'm not a golfer or bowler & I don't have a clue as to how much time is needed for either London Bridge or Oatman but with 34 lines, I think you'll be OK to take a risk that you can get 2 or 3 lines for ourselves any time during the day Sat. If that doesn't work, we can go see a movie or go to the shopping mall which is across the street up a block or two. We may have to play it by ear.

HRG, I might suggest that there is quite a lot to do in Lake Havasu, I don't know what time evrybody is leaving, but the drive there is approx 1 hr and with some tourist time, I don't think you would be back to the Avi at 2:30. That is really rushing it imho.

I agree that going to Lake Havasu is a good hour drive each way, but I thought their more to do/see at Oatman. Maybe I'm missing something at the lake.
Lets not try rushing to do everything in some unheard of record time.

Suggestion taken........I have no idea what to expect With the schedule the way it is.....how are some golfing? I was hoping someone would give me a more accurate time schedule......thanks Highrider!

Steve and I don't want to miss the site seeing cruise......we're coming a long way and want to make the most of it.

Bowling.....Play it by ear.....at least we know there may be a chance for lanes and maybe we can get in 1 game instead of three before the Banquet at 6:00 P.M.

Let's just roll with it........ If it fits in then great....if it doesn't then so be it

some are going golfing by not going on the drives. The two different drives according to the info I've been given are 2 hour drive on 2lane hwy and sightseeing, leaving the hotel around 9:30 (or when everyone is gathered)
Oatman is closer with places to get drinks. and of course there will a time out for lunch somewhere, I am not sure when the R/C races are being done, so we have that too. then the banquet is at 6 and we have the room for hours then it is a mad dash to Sonic! I just don't know if we will have time !

For an idea as to scheduling............check the link under 2nd annual Laughlin Run which shows the agenda of activities and the times. It includes Friday night and Saturday info. Hope this helps.

Wink No Time . . .

Based on my experience last year . . . Early morning photos and RC Contest. UNLESS you don't plan on going on one of the SSR trips (Oatman Goldmining Town w/Wild Asses or Lake Havasu w/London Bridge) . . . you'll barely won't have time to do anything other than what is scheduled on Saturday.

But, then I'm probably biased . . . to me golfing ruins a good walk and bowling is for people who have lost interest in sex.
