Jeff/Tom - are you intending on have a tech session on one of the days? Or perhaps you don't want one at all. Just thought I'd ask.

Checking on how many are still planning to combine the Peach City Beach Cruise with the Colorado Summer Run.

Wildcat 66
Phoenix
McVett2
Turnheadz
BlueStreak

are registered or have confirmed they will be registering for the Beach Cruise

ABlur05
Artsmart
BlueSSR

had indicated they were planning on coming to Penticton, but have not yet confirmed.

Looks like we could have a fairly large convoy to Colorado.

Still time to combine the two events into a Fanatic holiday.

I will be combining the two BUT, I will have to be in Seattle for a wedding on July 3. I will not be joining you for any caravans between the two unless you are in for some long fast days.

Hotel reservations and Registration

If you have not already done so please make your hotel reservation A.S.A.P. Cancellation policy is 48 hours before arrival, so you have nothing to loose by making your reservation early. Also, please send Tom your registration as soon as is comfortable. This will aid us tremendously in making preparation for "Your Week in the Rockies"!

It is good to be king!!
I got this reply from the Coordinator about King beds so you must be lucky to have gotten a King at the $99 price!

Glenda Grow,
Thank you for your inquiry. The special $ 99 rate is only for rooms with 2 queens of course. However a room with a king is $20 more per night. They said to call and if interested you can change to a room with king and be sure to ask it has a view type of mountain.

No.. I had to pay the extra $20.00 sorry for the confusion. I was very happy to do that as I was told all the queen bed rooms face the courtyard and the king bed rooms face the resort (the surrounding countryside) and for me that is WELL WORTH the extra 20 bucks. For 4 days of beautiful scenery to wake up to each morning.. YOU BET !!!!

Camp Ground

We need an offical campground for those of us come in RV's or Teardrops. We can have our own little side group.

Jim,

We are going back to "the Springs" on March 6 to do some more planning. We will make every effort to search out a good campground close to the resort and pass the information to you guys.

Just a thought... Might the resort make arrangements for the few of our family that would need space? OR... possibly have something set up on site already for just this type of need? After all, a lot of people travel in/with motor homes and or trailers... Just a thought

Please add TrikeRider to your list. ( Lloyd & Eileen) This will be our first SSR rally. We have been in Colo. many times on the Goldwing. Sold the Wing last September and bought the SSr in December. Looking forward to a new (different)rally and hope we get to make a lot of new friends.
