Decided to hit the road early and outrun the windstorm this morning and make our way to Nashville.
We met up with the wingriders(Bill & Jan) and the 1luckydogs(Jim & Melanie) for dinner and some catching up after Maggie Valley. Thanks for taking time to come out and spend the evening ...
In the morning, it's off to DFW, Tx. then New Mexico, and Phoenix.

I didn't know you 2 went to VA when you were back east. VA is where Phyllis is from and I was station in the Navy in Dam Neck which is just south of VA Beach, back in the 70s. Looks like it hasn't changed much since than, as far as the beach goes. Looks like you two had fun there.

I worked at Dam Neck 10 years ago. Nothing had changed on base for decades, but there are housing delevopments right outside of the base now. In fact my house of 17 years was only 2 miles from the base....as you know, it used to be a 15 minute drive to anything in the 70's
