Stickers, free samples, a NAPA logo oil drain pan, pens, keychains, HRPT window flag and front plate, catalogs, beverage can holders, and a set of flowmaster tire valve caps! Those will go on my Silverado as it's got a FM cat back system on it (also already have the custom SSR stem caps on my 'R!).
I didn't even hit every booth. Stupid me though, I forgot to get to the MSD booth early to get my Cleveland magnet. They ran out just minutes before I got there! Said to come back first thing in the morning - damn skippy I will!

The official start day for the Power Tour. All long haulers met for the first drivers meeting to go over routes. As we all drove into the center the rain started and continued all day long. The meeting took longer than expected and it took over one hour to get all the cars out of the center and onto the expressway. It was very slow traveling through town and very interesting to see all the people sitting along the streets watching all the cars go by. It took us 2.5 hours to travel just 11 miles on the start of the trip.
1. Fuzzy leading us through the scenic back roads from our hotel to the Cleveland Exposition Center for the drivers meeting and the start of the tour
2. arrival at the Exposition Center in Cleveland
3. the arrival of cars as they enter for meeting--as far as you can see
4. cars lined up waiting for the meeting
5. some of our group under umbrellas as it started to rain before meeting
After the large group received their instructions, all the cars started lining up to exit the center for trip to Kalamazoo. It was very slow going.
We had 12 cars in our group traveling together and we always tried to stay close and in contact with each other using radios.

2. cars heading out for start of tour
3. our SSR group heading out

The rain continued off and on during the day. Since we had gotten such a late start due to the massive line of cars traveling along the route, the group decided to skip the lunch at the park and continue onto Kalamazoo. We were scheduled to meet up with Hot Rod Girl and Scot0168 there. We traveled through some very heavy rain during the day and arrived very late in the afternoon at our destination.
1. severe weather as we traveled to Kalamazoo
2. rest stop between breaks in the rain
3. Fock's cafe was open for business at the rest stop
4. severe rain that we had to drive through for long periods of time
5. wreck we passed along the road--notice how much water was in the median between the roads
We were scheduled to arrive around 2pm but due to bad weather it was closer to 6pm when we arrived. HotRodGirl and Scott0168 had arrived earlier to meet us. They saved spaces for us to park and also brought us snacks to eat while we visited. WE REALLY APPRECIATED IT VERY MUCH. THANK YOU. IT WAS GREAT VISITING WITH YOU.
As we were arriving most cars were starting to leave and the vendors were starting to close down. We had to move fast to get our long haulers card stamped and pick up our free fender pads. But it did stop raining for a short time while we visited and eat.

5. large gas station fill-up stop before heading to Grand Rapids for the night
We are staying in Grand Rapids and in the morning we are all riding the Lake Ferry across Lake Michigan.
The rain was just incredibly heavy everywhere! On I-94, we arrived minutes after a major wreck that was caused by the rain. 2 vehicles collided, either because of hydroplaning, or because one of the drivers was trying to avoid the water. The rain was falling so hard and fast that a small lake had formed in the median (2+ ft deep) and was running out into the highway. Both vehicles ended up in that mini lake (the SUV on its side). Sorry about the low-res pic. It's a still frame taken from my camcorder.
As mentioned, we were quite late arriving (took us 2 hours to get from the exposition center to I90 - a total of 4.5 miles was it?) and we even skipped the mid-day lunch stop and took the main highways to get there. We were so late that vendors were shutting down and leaving (not all, but many). Within an hour after we arrived, most were finally packed up.
The day wasn't a total loss. It was great seeing Debbie & Steve, and Scott again. Thanks for the snacks from me too.
