I got to meet Freezer at the WDC!!

What a sincere honor and priveledge it was to not only meet, but talk with Freezer (Ed Ivey) at the WDC bank lot on Saturday!! (How many vehicle program managers take the time to go to enthusiast's gatherings would you guess?). Freezer has "failed retirement" as he says, and is back in the automotive industry management business again, which makes it even more amazing that he is willing and able to spend time and meet with us "Fanatics".

I was so inspired by his unwaning enthusiasm for our beloved trucks - he is truly an "SSR Fanatic" just like us!! But he also has a wealth of "inside" info on the development and production of the most vehicle ever created by a major auto manufacturer. Despite my badgering him with questions I'm sure he has already answered a bazillion times - he answered them all with detail and enthusiasm. Needless to say, I am a "Freezer" admirer!

THANK YOU! Ed for being a part of this wonderful group of people you have helped bring together, THANK YOU! for building this awesome vehicle we all love so much, and mostly, THANK YOU! for putting up with me Saturday!
