Info on Channel 6 -Lansing State Journal & State Capitol Photo's WDC/LCC/ASC 2011

We made contact with Margaret Hehr the official photographer today at the Local Hall around 3:30PM. her number is (517)-337-4929 e-mail
photo4w@sbcglobal.net

We gave her the information of who is in photo's with your screennames and she wrote them on the back of the photo..they look Fantastic including all of the single and other special shots she took.

In addition Cannel 6 in Lansing aired that we were coming yesterday ...I will try to get this news clip as well as any information for the Lansing State Journal as they were present today taking photographs and interviewing along with the REO'S Museum as we are also in his news letter.

Just getting in the door , taking care of hubby and totally exhausted ....but you will have all the information you need soon



I will bump this thread back up when I fill in the details.

We really appreciate Deb's efforts for making the WDC a fantastic event. We were very disappointed when we had to cancel making this trip -- however it has been wonderful seeing articles like this one that Deb arranged and all the pictures everyone is posting.

I took a few photos and spent a little time stitching and photoshopping to get some of these. You can right click and save these to your own computer when they are opened. All are 1024 wide.

Photo1 is the State Capitol when we were parking the SSRs for the photo shoot. Note the long line of patient drivers waiting for their turn to be backed into a 45 degree angled slot without lines and only about 12" between fenders.

Photo 2 is at the Union Hall where we had lunch. Nice people.

Photo 3 is one that I snapped from the top of the Capitol steps as everybody was jumping in to go to the Union hall for lunch. Oddly enough, it captured a very memorable handshake. Debbie - send me your email address and I'll forward the hi res copy to you.

Photos 4 & 5 were taken after we left the RE Olds Museum and were headed to the Capitol....... Yes, I jumped out of Blue Streak's truck and was standing in the middle of the street for this one.

If anyone wants a hi-res copy of these, please drop an email to mike@simple-engineering.com and I'll send it. Please use the photo name (like "union hall 1 1024.jpg" or "Img 0951 1024.jpg") when you ask for one of them.

I flipped them by accident when resizing I am on the other side of the pic .......so just reverse it

Can't make the Pumpkin Run. September 25th is the Orphan Car Show in Ypsilanti & I'm working at it. Jack Miller (who heads it up) is a friend of mine.

Ok, i drove around lansing hitting gas stations and stores for over an hour and managed to come up with abt 50 copies of the lsj. I have had some fanatics pm me directly to mail them one.

Hotrodgirl, i wasnt sure how many of these copies you wanted, so i will wait to hear from you.

So far, i have received requests frm:

Downshifters, marv and judy
purplehawk and yellow bear, betty and fuji
charlie (sorry dont know how to do the trademark thing lol)
abadssr
ssrtruck and mrs ssrtruck, jim and mindy

i think that is all i have received req's for so far, but i will go back thru my pm's and this thread to make sure.
