How about a "Fund Raiser" Car wash?

Phoenix;

HAND CAR WASH.....YES!!!!!

Rather than asking for a discount truck wash, why don't we propose a joint fund raiser with the owner of the car wash for the Abused Children Fund?

If he will sell you car wash tickets at a discount rate (say 25%), we buy them from you at full price, plus we match the discount?
So, a full price wash and a small donation for the kids.

If we can spend thou$and$ on those toys or ours, and drive hundreds of miles to get there, I can't believe that we couldn't raise a few bucks for such a worthy cause.

At just one wash each (I'm sure) would be a good chunk of change for the kids.

BTW, I'll take the first TWO tickets.

When we go back in a few weeks to Kerrville to make sure all the arrangements are set, I will talk to him. Thanks for the suggestion.
Also fanaticts do not forget we are setting up the corral for all of you to bring stuffed toys to the rally to place in it. Then we will present them to the Sheriff's fund to use with abused children. This idea was one given us by Furykay that their motor home group did when they were there for a rally.

Options?

Phoenix;

Is there a place nearby where we can purchase stuffed toys rather than toting them all the way to Texas.

After my wife puts all of her stuff in the truck and I pack all of my extra SSR parts (and tools) those animals might be tied on the outside of my truck!

Ya know,..I know some people that have been known to buy things, put them in plastic bags and transport them in the compartment that the roof would fold down in to.

But there is a walleyworld in Kerrville, as well.

The stuffed animals need to be small since they have to fit into the sheriff patrol cars. No larger that 10 inches.
Yes, there are places to shop. There is a WalMart within a few miles of the hotel and other stores also.
