International Texas Rally Thank You!

Just wanted to thank all the Texas committee members that put on such a wonderful week of fun for all of us. The hard work they put into this really showed! It's just amazing what a great group of people we have that own these wonderful trucks. Hope y'all have a safe trip home

I couldn't agree more! Johna and the gang went above and beyond, everything was fantastic.

Also a big thanks to Blue Thunder for getting everybody together for BBQ Tuesday evening at my cousin's place. He and my aunt were thrilled to see all the SSRs...

A good time was had by all. I think in the end we had 21 trucks there and I can only imagine what your cousin thought after a ride to Sonic in HELVIS!!!

Thanks for the invitation. As BlueThunder says, "Post it and they will come" and we proved that.

Johna and the committee certainly did a great job and all the events were fun and well attended. It will be hard for the next group to beat it, but I have faith in the Fanatics.

Thanks Texas Committee.

Not at all Gina. After all the fact that you were missing meant that it was not as great as it coulld have been. It might help if it did not rain (and we know that you have no control over that) on the MV event but it is still a lot of fun.

me too, my point was they can always be better than they are because some one is always missing. I just added the comment onthe rain because it was you.

Gina ! Ya Done Good, Girl !!! You went from Local to International in 3 years !!
You're a one-of-a-kind Fanatic in our book.
I think we're talking about more that the gatherings and rallys where Fanatics gather will continue to push the boundaries further outward and upward. This Committee deserves a Big 'Ol Hug for what they poured their hearts and soul into to make this such a big success. Their families, too.
Fanatic Family will always return to their favorites, but each of the organizers around the countries really deserve a Big 'Ol " Yahoo" !!! We Thank Ya'll !!!!

This was really a Great Rally !!! The Committee has certainly raised the bar for future events. Even with out my SSR this week, I was able to enjoy the Rally and the Brotherhood that I have come to enjoy with the Fanatics over the years. I will continue to come to the SSR events as long as you allow me, even if it's in a Camaro !!!
Thanks again for inviting me to your party !!!

John

Big Thanks!

A super big thank you to the Texas organizing committee. They planned some wonderful activities this past week. There was so much to do, but still plenty of time to get to know the other fanatics. I loved the casual, spontaneous parties around the pool or under the tree in the parking lot.

All that Lloyd and I can say is...............WOW!

As a couple of Texas Fanatics we are really proud of the planning committee and all their hard work to pull of an awesome event. Dianne and I in the past have been a convention chairs and fund raising chairs of various events and the amount of mental and physical energy for an extended time that goes into the events is enormus not counting the wear and tear on the family and spouses. It was very obvious that this planning committee were like family to each other and had a great time doing it !

Some say one can never please everybody when planning an event like Kerrville but all we heard were super positive comments and the strong chemistry of the Fanatics was evident from Sunday through breakfast this morning.

We offier one more attagirl/boy for the organizers here's hoping everyone gets home safe and sound.

Smile Thanks to all of you

Who let us know what a great time you had. It was very gratifing to see everyone having fun. The scavenger hunt got pretty competitive there at the end. We had a great time seeing y'all having a great time.
Saw many old friends again and made some new ones. We got home yesterday, but I was "too pooped to post" so will try to get pics on today. Headed to Kansas tomorrow to pick up grandkids.Once again, thanks to all of you who attended. You made it all worth the time and effort. FANATICS ROCK!!!!!

I want to thank everyone who helped with the massive tech session on Monday--starting before daylight. The men and women all worked very hard from installing parts, taking doors aparts, turning wrenches and cutting all the fatmat pieces. Thanks to Kay for cooking hot dogs for all the working crew that day.
Many thanks again to the committee members for all the help during the rally from registration, tech session, jewelry class, car show, banquet and leading all the many cruises through out the hill country.
THANKS TO ALL THE GREAT FANATICS WHO TRAVELED TO TEXAS TO ATTEND OUR RALLY! IT WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN A SUCCESS WITHOUT ALL OF YOU.

finally made it home 3:00 this afternoon.

with Johna that without all the attending fanatics our jobs would have been useless. Our goal was to get as many people to attend and for everyone to have a great time! I think it was successful

We missed everyone who couldn't make it to Texas and hope to see you in 2011 for the next big one, and no it won't be in Texas but it will be in very capable hands

There was a total of 125 cars attending thru out the week so that means about 250 people.
Not all stayed at the hotel, several at RV parks, several at other hotels and some lived close and drove in each day for activities. There was also several fanatics that had two cars in attendance. Several also drove in for one day of activities.

Long distance Award

In case you were not at the farewell breakfast Friday, the winner of the
Long Distance Award was Support Tech---Steve Fenner.
He drove 2162 miles one way here.
I understand he placed the gas cover on his silver SSR before he drove out of the hotel parking lot heading back to Canada.
