The Rally Committee took a little trip to tie up the last minute details for the Rally and here are some teasers for Y'all
The videos are for Run Rod Run to see if you think the Twisted Sisters is something you feel comfortable driving, if you don't feel comfortable, I am sure we can find an empty seat for you to ride along I feel confident that you could drive it, since LT took me on one of the roads you have driven on when I went out to Laughlin
Here's a good reason to either get to Maggie Valley a day or so early, or to leave on Monday after the Rally.
It's a good idea to do your first trip to "The Dragon" on a weekday.
The "Weekend Warriors" and the heavier traffic can be a bit too much.
I grew up and learned to drive on roads like that in rural Connecticut. i look forward to going back to that king of driving. Freeways suck!!!
There are a lot of Canyon Roads in your area that are a blast. Mulhuland is even pretty fun. I had a Honda CBX with a Turbo 1979 Model 6 cyl. That was a scary fast Bike with very high Compression. Man what a RUSH.
Is that Mickey trying to dislodge an Armadillo in post#2???
Things to watch for while driving, Roadkill, Deer alive and dead, bikers with and without motors and Boulders (larger than rocks and hell on spoilers )
it was a near miss

Although this post was made in fun, we are serious when we suggest you watch out for deer. Those rascals can be around the next corner or bend of the road, or even run out as you are driving down the road. They can ruin your vacation with us, not to mention, cause you to panic and in doing so, leave the road you are driving on.

Great! thats what we have to many of here in Michigan, deer! Thats why I don't drive the R at night this time of year and also in the fall of the year.
During my travels I've encountered just about every critter that walks in North American.
Without a doubt, deer have to be the dumbest of the bunch.
I've came close to hitting them many times but so far I've been fortunate.
I will steer around them if I can do it safely and brake if I can't.
I'd prefer being alive to make an insurance claim as opposed to being a statistic.
As one of my frinds says, it's better just to aim for them. If you do, you'll never hit them.
