They will have their regular afternoon train running Sunday at 1:30 PM, but not with the BBQ/Robbery. The ride is about 90 minutes.
There is no food service onsite or on the train. You are welcome to bring bag lunches/picnic baskets.

We will need to leave at 12:45 to get everyone there in plenty of time.

Iris and I will catch up to the winery tour, then take the winery group back to the Kettle Valley station to pick up the train group at 3 PM.
We will drive towards Oliver to check out a few more wineries before returning to Penticton.
Group dinner at the Hooded Merganser 6 PM Sunday evening.

Peter and I are interested in going on the railway trip and having dinner with everyone that evening. We just need to book one extra night at the Lakeside Hotel.

I have booked the hotel one more night and we are in for sure. Ray there is also the restaurant on top of the moutain looking down on Pentiction. Great view and kind of a fun place to go. Haven't been there for awhile, so don't know what it is like now? Do you know the name?

Very nice rustic restaurant, great drive up, awesome views, but with a group of 16 or more, they will only do a buffet with two entree choices, or a prime rib buffet. Only been there for a wedding reception several years ago, so can't speak for the food quality.
Here's their buffet menu.
I think we'd need to go with #1 or #2, possibly salmon & chicken??. Not everyone is big on prime rib.
