Just made it back home to Sunny AZ from the Keys Run, 6760 miles in all on the trip. Thanks Anne for doing a great job putting it all together. Sorry we missed everthing but the dinner Friday night, looks like everyone had a great time. We were both sick and Nancy spent all day Sat in bed so we didn't even make it down to Key West. O well it's on to Laughlin Run #8 next.
Carl

Thanks Ann and your whole team for a great time. There are no words to say how great everything was. It's the first rally that I felt was a real vacation. The feeling was just different. What a spot. You did good. Thanks again. Hope to see you again soon.
We finally made it home from our "extended" Keys Run. We had a great time and wish to thank all who helped in making this a great trip. Special thanks to Anne, Robert and Jolie for all the hard work in organizing this get together, Mike and Alex for the great hats and shirts, Kay for the help in getting setup correctly for trailering the R, Lloyd & Gerry, Wayne & Sandy (and whoever else was crammed into the Sedona van) for making the final delivery of OP's/Mikes chin spoiler. Also thanks to Dwight for the indexing suggestion (been working so far).
Had a great time making new aquaintances with more fanatics (right coast, left coast and canucks) as well as seeing those we've met previously. Have to start planning for the next get together we can attend. Thanks to all.

Just finished watching Modern Marvels - Overseas Highway on the History Channel. Having read the book on Flaglers Folly and visiting Pigeon Key during our visit, I found this episode extremely interesting. Anyone that attended any of the Key's Runs over the years might want to watch for it.

I spoke with Richie, fellow SSR owner and head honcho at the Turtle Hospital, the other day. He is having a few issues with his truck (I suggested it may be the ignition switch) but he also reiterated how grateful the hospital is for our support. I told him it was our pleasure! I thought it was great that we helped them out... but it was also pretty cool to have a turtle at the party.
Thanks again Reb, Doug, Sandy and everyone who contributed... !

I think the word got out in the turtle world ---- as we walked along the beach, in Maui in January, a turtle swam along side us for about 1/2 mile. I named it Montel Jr. A man came running up to us as we "walked" with it, he was so excited saying there's a turtle!!! I calmly said yeah, it's Montel Jr.
