Well we made it home but the Temperature gauge needle was pegged all the way to the right. Sense the truck did not overheat Bill says it must be the gauge.

Bob and Glo made it home safely Sunday with no issues. We just took a look at some of the great photos, including the Davis Dam group photo by Big Wave. Thanks, Duane, we just downloaded them.

we arrived home safe and tired yesterday around 4:00pm. wonderful top down drive home. Phil however seems to have brought home a bug of some sort. Hope you all are well and didn't catch anything. WONDERFUL WEEKEND, WONDERFUL FOLKS, NOT SO WONDERFUL GAMBLING, but there is always next year. It was great to see you all again and meet some new members. Thanks to all for your hard work and generosity. These events would not be the same without the efforts of you all. See you soon , WENDY

A Great Weekend and Safe Trip Home
Thanks to Rob and all the fanatics who worked so hard to make it happen.
My son Steve and I were the last 2 on our 3:00 flight out of Phoenix to Seattle as he had to work on monday. Steve broke a few speed limits to get to Mesa to park the R until april. We both agreed the tight schedule since leaving Seattle Friday at 6:00 am was well worth it, meeting a lot of new great people, good food and all. Steves 1st SSR meet sure impressed him. I cant wait to tell all my friends we had lunch with the Vegas Mob at Mr Ds in Kingman.
Turnheadz, Lloger, and Blue Thunder just got in to Phoenix safe and sound. We had lunch with them. Put Jeff on the plane for Colorado and Wayne, Sandy, Gerry and Lloyd are on their way to Rocky Point to rest up from Laughlin
We made it home about noon today. Yesterday's drive was interesting, we had a sand storm just outside of Mojave and a Snow storm in Tahatchapi. Then decided to stay the night in Bakersfield.
We had a great time and are now looking forward to Kingsberg.

We both made it home safe and sound a little after 4PM today. A BIT windy all the way home, but otherwise a great relaxed drive.
Thanks to the Committee for putting on the BESTEST Laughlin Run !!! We did not want Saturday nite to end ! Next year, we'll have to have a nap before the banquet so we can party more afterwards. You guys really put together a Fanatic Week-end! Can't wait for #5 to 'come alive'!
Now I know it only takes 21 gallons when the fuel needle completely hides the red line. Geezeeee, I coulda made it to work all week with what was left before it went dry....
Thanks again for a memorable week-end.....

Wow... you guys really know how to put it all together! My compliments and thanks to all! What a great group of people. Dane, thanks for rescuing me at the car wash, I think I was starting to cause way to many problems. The cruise to Mr. Dee's and lunch was great. You made made my co-pilot and I feel welcome.
We stayed and contributed another couple of Franklin's to the Aquarius, so as to be sure and get invited back next year. Got back to Bakersfield around 8:00 Sunday night after fighting our way through wind, rain and snow!
Thank you all again for making my first SSR event so enjoyable. Joe

Home safe and sound ....sorta.....everything was fine until about 30 min. south of Amarillo....stopped in Amarillo for my last fill up to get me home and noticed it was 26 degrees and spitting little ice pellits!! Turned south on 287 for home and most of the traffic was 18 wheelers....well, about 28 miles south of Amarillo on a bridge (downhill and bank right) L'il Devil decided to do a 720 which put me out in the middle divider (dirt and grass). I must be blessed cause I missed the bridge sides on the way around and didn't do any damage except picking up about 200 pounds of wet dirt and grass before I came to a rest. Needless to say the rest of the 200 miles home I was a W R E C K !!!! Had the first double Scotch I've had in years!!!! But, other than that, it was a great weekend with some great friends!!
WOW Marrion I was wondering if you had made it home before the ice started. I think you do have an angel on your shoulder. Glad you and the R are both in one piece
