Question Laughlin Parking Option

I have just recieved word from the Aquarius that there will be two rows Reserved in Valet Parking available for those that wish to use them.

"At the moment, we’ve blocked off rows Q & R in Valet for your guests, giving you a total of 51 parking spaces."

I can probably ask for another row which should give us at least 25 more.

Please let me know what you think?

Your call...........sound off.....

That's great news Rob, just wish I was driving my R to the event...

Can I park a Volvo there???

I do think requesting an additional row would be in order unless everyone wants to park on the roof like last year which I thought was cool since there was no one else around and some members could watch all the R's from there room. and it looked cool.

I like the roof - less chance for damage by other cars, valets, etc.

It be nice if all of us were on the same floor level regardless if we use the Valet Parking space.

If I remember correctly, wasn't the valet area the open parking lot at ground level outside of the parking garage???

I could be mistaken since I didn't use valet.

Check out the age of those valets.... How much insurance does the Aquarius carry for the valet parking? Do you want a valet to park your R...? I think I'll take the roof, taking my chances on scraping the front spoiler (I did last year ). But thanks, Rob, for the effort! See you Friday.

I agree with Doug, Let keep it at top level floor so others won't crash our party.

Rob can chime in here, but I got the impression that you would still "self-park", but it would just be in the Valet lot..

Reminder to all...

The majority of us parked on the roof last year because the hotel refused to block off parking anywhere else for us and a lot of us complained about the parking garage as well as the elevator from hell to get us up and down.

Now they've offered 51+ roped off spaces and we don't want to take them up on the offer?

It will NOT be valet, just in the valet parking area and it will be park your own.

If we're not going to use the spaces, we need to let the hotel know.

Hopefully the elevator from hell will work better this year.

I / WE like the roof.... We can work on the truck and nobody will bother us.
I like the look of the roof from the upper floors of the rooms.

I vote for the roof. X

I am happy parking my own in the roof.

Last year we had no idea what we were up against for parking. THe roof worked well except for the elevator. iIf they have done all the refubishing then I hope the elevator was included. I stll vote for the roof, but I do appreciate the effort by Rob and the hotel.

Roof parking was kind of cool as a fanatic gathering point, not to mention all the noise we would make driving the levels up and down to go on runs It also made for so great pictures.

BTW - there are stairs right next to the elevator...........

valet parking is also inside, I believe on the first floor. Plus, you didn't park on the roof at all...did you?

We want to park on the roof. With valet you end up having all of the tourists walking by and possibly touching the trucks.

Personally I don't care which way...but the roped off valet area isn't any different than the first 2 years at the AVI.

Disagree. At AVI, we were on the 2nd floor away from the main walkway, the stairs and elevator.

I agree, keeping an eye on the trucks is paramount. The ROOF is without a doubt the BEST. Can accumulate all our trucks there for great photo ops. It ain't gonna rain . . . besides my roof doesn't leak.

However, I do appreciate your efforts, Rob. Thanks.

Roof is good.. last year.. hotter than hell up there.. and getting there was a bit scary.. Personally like the idea of being on the ground.. but agree.. if only 50 odd spots... that only part of the group... rather be with the group.,..
