Ray, the GM and our show & shine sponsor, at Findlay Motors will be permitting the use of a lift and part of his lot after the Show & Shine on Saturday for a tech session.
Please post here if you have anything that needs to be done and/or if you wish to volunteer your expertise in any area. AC Rob (Rob) will determine what may be needed to fulfill your needs and if it can be accomplished in the amount of time we have prior to the Saturday night banquet.
Make it a two day trip...some nice hotels at the outlet in Barstow...should be some really good sales the end of January.

The issue is Dad would miss his golf!! ... And heck when we were in Scotland... we went pub crawlin together... had a great time.. so he knows what I'm like. My Mum (who by the way didn't drink) was the loud one.. so he is use to us woman causin' a wee bit of noise
Let me know if a spare tire kit can be installed.. that will determine which truck I take to Laughllin

So as not to tie up anyone for the full Saturday afternoon, I would suggest we move the Spare Tire Installation and any Servo Installs to the Phx Tech Session if possible, in order to avoid any delays for SSR owners and Techy Volunteers.
We'd rather keep this a low volume, small item tech session; IE Performance Tunes, FatMat installs, etc.
The larger items can be handled easier at a larger Tech Session.
Regular Tech Sessions are normally held in March in Phx, or at the next Redlands Tech Session or at Autodan's Tech Session. (For this Region)
Thank you for understanding the time restraints we'll have at Laughlin.

See you all soon,
Unless I miss the thread/post, what are the Saturday afternoon plans?
Several of our own, are Detail experts, and could probably help.
While there at the Show & Shine, I recommend you speak with "Blackie". He is an absolute expert, and his truck is a great example of this statement.
I'm not a "EXPERT" per say, but thru out all of my years of owning anykind of ride. I have learned to detail/polish my rides mainly because my Dad used to do it to his rides when I was a little guy. It's something that I have always done because I have always felt that I can do it just as good as a "EXPERT" and I enjoy looking at the results of my hard labor.
I'll tell you what there Don, you bring your touch up paint and I'll bring my 2000 grit sandpaper/Q tips/ tape/thinner and we will see about filling up your craters. After that I'll buff out your paint and you can watch first hand on how I do it and give it a try on your own SSR after you have watched me. I see you have stripes on you rig, are they stickers or are they painted on? if painted, are they clear coated ? if the detailers are there and you want to blow me off and go with them ..... That's cool I take my time because I do not do it for a living and I like to have a "POP" or two while I detail/polish Unlike last years "GIG" I will be getting there early Thrusday morning and get settled in, and not waxing my rig at 2:00 AM in the dark (which takes a lot of time)
