Mini Tech Session @ Texas Rally

The mini tech session will be held in the parking lot of the hotel from 7 AM until 1-2 PM.
Monday for the early arrivals.
NO WORK WILL BE DONE ON THURSDAY

Mikey and Doug Allen will do the deed, and will welcome any help from fellow members.....

We'll keep it to main fans, radiators, mirrors, FatMatting for soundproofing, chrome part installation, etc. Basically all the work we can do without a floor jack
This thread has been modified to keep harmony in the families of the SSR Fanatics who are volunteering alot of their free time and maybe spreading themselves a little to thin No Divorce lawyers will be needed

FatMatting for soundproofing sounds like something I need.

I'll supply the FatMat, so don't worry about that.

It will be on a "first come, first served" basis until it's gone or we run out of time.

That could end up being a lot of FatMat by the time you get to the end of the list. I'll have to do that one of these days when the is torn apart

For anybody that needs mirrors, radiators, fans, etc. that Mikey sells, please contact him directly, and SOON, so he can make sure he has what you need.

I'm pretty sure he's going to want to ship the parts to the hotel in advance, because neither he nor I will have the room to carry them with us.

If fatmat is anything like dynamat Xtreme it takes about 18sq ft to do both doors.

Is this something I need?

Never heard of this "Fat Mat" stuff before.
Does it really work?

I do like the "blinking" directional mirrors (I have them on my DuraMax).
I'll be there on Sunday so I guess I may as well bite the bullet and get in line behind Rebel on Moday morning

I use FatMat because it's easy to install, stays in place and really works. It's similar to Dynamat, but is not as thick (FatMat is 50 Mil, Dynamat is .67 Mil).

It's easier to work, weighs less and is less than half the cost of Dynamat. I have it in all five of our R's.

If you want Dynamat or some other product, feel free to bring it with you.
