Moleskin At The Texas Rally
I'm contributing a roll of Moleskin to the Texas Rally. If you are one of the people who is getting FAT MAT this would be the perfect time to have the Moleskin added to the door panels. All I ask is that if you want this done please go the "Tech Session At The Texas Rally" thread and have it added to the list of thing to be done. Also anyone else that wants this added be sure to have your name added to the list. If we run out of time Monday, I'll be there all week to help you or the do for you if need be. Just be sure your name is on the list so I'll know how many and how much Moleskin is needed.
Enjoy and hope to see all of you at the Texas Rally in 10 more days.
I forgot to say that it is free.

I'm figuring that we have enough Moleskin for everyone that wants some. I figured that just about everyone that gets fatmat will also get Moleskin. Got you covered.See ya in Kerrville.

Problems with the skins
I had problems with the mole skins on our passenger door. The adheasive on the back of the felt strip didn't hold in the heat of Texas and it all balled up and made a mess on the passenger window. I had to take the door panel back off and remove the rest of the felt strip and clean the adheasive off. The driver's door dosn't seem to be giving me any problems so far. I hope it stays that way. Just a heads up, the adheasive on the window really makes a mess.

Anytime you do tint or moleskin you should not roll your windows down for at least 5-7 days so everything dries & cures....
Window indexing shouldn't bother it either....

I'd like to point out that I brought donuts and coffee for all the people during the tech session. While studies show that people on sugar and a high caffeine diet are sometimes more jittery, most of the time it helps them get started in the morning.
Anyway,.. that's my excuse.
