I'm seriously thinking about bringing my tools with me so I can remove some small dings & dents from my fellow fanatics rides
the proceeds would go to Mike in AZ's grand kids (if that's ok with him)
I can help a lot of people in a reasonable amount of time as long as I don't take on large challenging dents or 'project' trucks (ones that have had the misfortune of being repeatedly dented all over)
I'd like to help everyone but I don't want to become overwhelmed.

I know I can use your help with a couple very small dents in the tailgate. I would suggest you be the judge of what you can do which would provide the greatest distribution of your talents once you see what is requested.

Can you make the Woodward Dream Cruise this year? I still have two small ones that need to be repaired.

good idea, Mike...
... put me at the top of your list please! Tim put a dent in my right front fender trying to see where the 'clunk' was coming from... the clunk is fixed and part of the dent popped out on its own but some is still there would much rather give my $$ to a fellow fanatic than a dent guy I've never seen before and hopefully never again...
That fund is a real blessing to the boys' mom. She's managed to only use it a couple times, but it has been a consistent sense of security for her. It looks like she'll be dipping into it in about 3 weeks to cover some day care gaps.
If you have lots of room, go ahead and bring your tools........ but make yourself only responsible for working during the show-and-shine or during the tech session. Otherwise, you'll never get any peace and end up spending the whole weekend working. That's not what we're there for......... trust me.
Regards,
Mike

Put me on top ahead of Artsmart.
I have a couple of dents that need attention, but I'll be happy if you can get the one in my SSR hood taken care of! Unlike my dents, the one in the SSR hood is small and shallow. Add my R to your list?

You're idea is a great one and I'm sure many fanatics are very appreciative It's wonderful of you to step up and offer!!!
I would also like to have a small tailgate ding fixed and would be glad to support a very good cause instead of a dent shop we don't know. Thanks, this will be much appreciated if you can do it.
Mike, thanks so much for fixing my 'factory' hood. Kudos for busting your tail all day long on fixing all the dents. You are truly an artist. Thanks for making the proceeds from your efforts a donation to the 'fund'.
I would also like to thank Mike for fixing to the dings i've had for a long time . I think everyone that had Mike work on there car would also be thankful. I feel that Mike went out of his way to make sure that anyone who wanted him to work on there car was worked on.

I would like to express my appreciation to Mike Powel for taking the time to come to Laughlin and removing the two dents that I HAD in my SSR. What a wonderful job at an excellent price. You saved me about $900 in body work and I really appreciate you coming out. Mike should returen next year because I am sure I will have a few more dents to be repaired. Thanks again.
Mike is incredibly gifted. He's got the eye and the touch needed to massage the dents and ripples out of our babies. I watched him work several trucks with a variety of intimidating tools.
When we got home yesterday, Debbie and I told the story about the generosity and labor of love that was done on behalf of the boys. When I handed the envelope of cash to Anissa, she teared up and choked out the same kind of humble response that I did on Saturday....... Jeez guys.....
To all those in the Fanatic family that paid Mike, knowing where the money was going...........Thanks to you from all of us here in this house. Your generosity is, again, quite humbling.
To Mike Powell, whose gifted hands were the instruments of generating revenue to be sure the boys get what they need......... You are awesome. Our appreciation is hard to put into words.
I wanted to bring my tools down and work on some sweet ssR steel but I didn't want to take any money.
I knew fanatics would want to pay so I figured this would be a way to make everyone happy.
I wish I could have done every ones truck, but I'm glad it worked out as well as it did!

Mike Powell
You are one heck of a sweetheart to do this Mike. It looks like it was a win/win situation. Fanatics without dings and a deserving family benefits too. Talk about pay forward and good Karma, you got it covered. I love this kind of stuff!

Mike hard at work...
on my Fixing a ding in the roof that has been there since it came home from the dealer If you look close you can see some of Lonnie's work on the engine cover. MoodyBlue (Frank Henson) took his photo. Mike did a fine job and donated all his earnings to a great cause.
