Pizza Party WDC-2008 @ Rivers Bend Park

Starting a poll to see who will be participating in the Meet & Greet Pizza Party @ Rivers Bend Park...there will be a cost for the Pizza. Need a head count to know how much to order.

Earlier in the day we will be attending an SSR Reunion Luncheon @ Pasquale's on Woodward from 12:00N until 4:00 $20.00 per person -Meet and greet some GM Executives, Engineers, Designers and other great employees that helped in building of our SSRs. After the luncheon we will then head to Rivers Bend Park till dusk.

If you can't make the SSR Reunion Luncheon....please go and enjoy the park and we will meet up with you as soon as we can.

Meet & Greet Pizza Party @ River Bends Park in Shelby Township MI
Bittersweet-Covered Shelter from 10:00 A.M. to dusk ($200.00 Fee) Please use it!!
Volleyball/Horseshoes are available including a Picnic Shelter and Flush Toilets
Pizza will be served @ 5:00 -6:00 P.M. or Later depending on the time we leave the SSR Reunion Luncheon.
Please allow time

We have the shelter from 10:00 A.M till dusk, Alcoholic beverages are allowed. Plan on packing a cooler for the day or whatever time you arrive to Michigan and spend the day here. This park is beautiful and I'm sure you will all enjoy it!!!! Consider lunch (packed in your cooler) while here and around 5:00 -6:00 P.M. Pizza will be served from Jets for dinner.

Hey Hot Rod Girl, River Bends also has a real good Discgolf course for those interested. If you're unfamiliar with Discgolf, it's played just like regular golf only with special Frisbees and elevated baskets instead of holes. It's a whole lotta fun! If I can make it I'll bring a bunch of extra discs for anyone that wants to try it. You've picked a great place with lots to do.

If you are coming to the pizza party....please vote in this poll so I wil have an accurate number and slices of pizza orderd.

I will be ordering a few different pizza's for this group to try

Like BLT, BBQ Chicken and Chicken Parmesan.

I am also looking for a volunteer to keep our SSR Fanatic members entertained until I get there. Some of us are attending the SSR Fanatic Reunion Luncheon on Woodward (me included) . We have the park from 10:00A.M. till dusk.....the SSR Reunion Luncheon is from 12:00 N to 4:00 P.M. (I will be leaving before 4:00 P.M to get to the park and greet those that did not attend the luncheon.)

If anyone is going out to the park early.....please let me know

Just one request......Pat is a vegetarian. Could some pizza be cheese & mushroom only? (Believe it or not, she doesn't do onions or peppers either...ugh!) LOL

Vegetarians will have to pick off the peperoni....sorry

Did you remember to order one pizza with just cheese & mushrooms? Pat's a vegitarian (NO meats at all) who also hates onions and ANY kind of peppers. Far as I'm concerned why eat, but she gets real grumpy when she doesn't get anything to eat. GBG
