Residence Inn-Warren MI-WDC-Feedback Thread

Yesterday I received a call from the Residence Inn Chain Representative whom follows up on large events that occur at the hotel. She wanted to know how our stay was and wanted to know if there is anything more they can do to make this better for us as they want our business back for next year.

This is what I told her.....since moving to this hotel I have heard of three complaints (one per year) that I know of where members have told me directly.

One was a toilet that didn't get repaired
another was a domestic problem
and this year was another domestic problem

I relayed my concerns that I am aware that they take long term residence. Mary told me that the hotel has the capability of blocking off a full section for us ...away from everyone else. She is relaying all of the concerns I have brought to her attention to the Warren General Manager.

Mary has been told that this hotel was named in the Warren Tech Center News and I feel that we bring a lot to this location. She most definitely agreed!

Now three complaints over this time of 3 years does not warrant a change considering we have 30-40 members staying there for the WDC.

What I would like is some feedback as to your stay as we all know it's hard to spend time relaying these concerns to me....we are on the go constantly for Woodward. Please post how your stay was and if you would like to return to this location next year?

Marty and I are very happy with the hotel. All three years. Their employees are very nice and helpful. We'd like to go back.

Our rooms were good, set up was nice, linens were good... I did have a problem with the people below my room... found out they were on a insurance long term claim... every night there was a fight or slamming doors, teenagers going at it on the balcony, etc... but it was all ok when Gina gave me some ear plugs

We were quite satisfied with our room and the service. Nice to have a full-size fridge in case a breaks out!

My only comment, and it may not even be possible, is that it would have been nice to be together in one or two blocks, instead of spread throughout the complex.

When I called the Inn to book my room this year, I asked them if they would include R/T Air from LA . . . and send a limo to pick me up ?

They hung up ? ? ? ?

How rude ! !

(Sorry I couldn't be there. Hope everyone had a great time)

I made Mary aware of this complaint this year....she then recommended we block out one section for just us and said the hotel can do this for us and should have

Thanks everyone for your comments.....your 4 day stay here should be comfortable with all the comforts of home and I am happy to hear you do enjoy the hotel. I will make plans to return for 2011. Mary will have the link to your comments as we discussed this on the phone.

Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback
