Route 66 International SSR Rally - Flagstaff, AZ 2011 - Chat Thread
While we were in Kerrville last summer at the 2009 International Rally, the Texas organizing committee approached Mike in AZ and I, asking if we would consider hosting the 2011 International SSR Rally. We accepted their offer.
Last Saturday night at the Laughlin Rally banquet, Mike in AZ announced that the 2011 International SSR Rally will be held in Flagstaff, Arizona the week of September 5, 2011. The organizing committee members are Duane and Elaine Morgan (Bigwave), Thumper and I. If you have specific questions, please feel free to PM any of us.
As the Rally events and specifics evolve, we will post more information.
Please mark your calendars for this event, we promise to provide more fun events than you can do in a week!

Steve and I enjoyed our overnight stay in Flagstaff on our way to the Laughin Rally in 2007. This is a great team and I'm sure the event will be a huge success
Map Quest - 30 hrs over 1995 miles now I just have to keep my fingers crossed we can attend

I think you better schedule at least 3 event days in order to see the Grand Canyon, Sedonia, Williams etc. Looks interesting, just don't drive in that big Hole out there!!!
My SSR: '04 Purple (Penelope)#3438 1st '04 Production UV and '06 blue over silver auto, #22851 #5 0f 32
Let me be the first Floridian to be added to the list. Have a good friend in Sedona who I'll be able to visit as well.
Love Arizona.....Maddie hasn't been there before....hope she'll make it too. Know you guys will have a knockdown dragout Rally. Hip-hip hurray for taking on this committment.
2/10...Maddie WILL be there

Bob and Glo will definitely be joining in on this one. We have it on the calendar and will look forward to the event. It seems to me that we are having "way too much fun"..........
