That means if you're running with Doug and the "Lead Foot Freaks" you'll only be about 45 minutes away.

Good question Ed, I'll try to answer as best I can.....

The organizing committee has been in negotiations for three months with the venue of choice, which is Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ. Every time we thought we had an agreement, another wrinkle developed - not the fault of Little America, they have been great to work with. Just details and payment schedules for planned activities at the hotel that have required a lot of thought and negotiation. Add to that the fact that all of the committee chairs work every day.....

We anticipate having a signed contract in hand mid next week, and we expect to have a central thread for the event posted within a week or so.

Thanks for your patience everybody, we're trying to provide the best lodging, activities and entertainment that we can for the members that will attend.

2011 Flagstaff Rally Update

We have an agreement with Little America Hotel as the venue!

Look for a central thread outlining the basics of the Rally in the near future, with links to the lodging details and various events that will be offered as they develop.

Thank all of you so much for your patience during the negotiation process, and please know that the 2011 International Rally Committee members are committed to provide the best experience that we can for attendees!

Stay tuned!

The agreement is executed, and the check's in the mail for the deposit.

Give us a few days to craft the main thread
