Susie,
This is exactly what SSJeff and I were discussing at LT's a couple of weeks ago. We plan on meeting at the Jack-In-The-Box the same as last year. We'll meet there at 8:00am (coffee or pee break) and leave no later than 8:30am for Barstow where we'll arrive around 10:00am and meet up with Lloyd's caravan coming up I-15. Maybe Lloyd will copy this schedule to his Original Post.

To any members coming down from Central or Northern California, you'll, more than likely come East on the 58 from the I-5. Gather up susiessr in Tehachapi and, if you want to, join us at Mojave, EXIT on the 14 (exit 167) go South on the 14 (becomes Sierra Highway) to Jack-In-The-Box at the corner of Highway 14 & Barstow Road. Susie can bring you here. She's done it before.

Jack-In-The-Box

Mojave, California

FWIW, I'm using Mapquest. Having a lot of problems with GoogleEarth these days. GoggleEarth puts the Jack-in-the-box many miles south on the 14 out in the middle of nowhere ? ? ? ?

Anyone else coming out of the LA basin that wants to attack Barstow from the "back" side by going up the 14 Freeway to Mojave, let me know. I'll be leaving Denny's at Sand Canyon & 14 Freeway around 7:00am.

There's so damn many of them in So Cal . . . I have one across the street from my condo complex, one a mile East where the Kingsburg meet point is, one a mile south of there at my Smoke Zone hangout, one a half mile north of my place in the Pavillion, one just 200 feet south of the Smoke Zone in Von's . . . there everywhere, everywhere.

After reading all the post before this from Blue Thunder I think I will drive North to meet up with WearyEagle bunch they need a Good Looking Italian Turkey to lead the pack of misguided "Eagle's" In my Italian map it shows buca' housa' (I thought this was Italian word for bathroom by my grandmother. Later on in life was explained that it was the out-house in back of her home) with heated toilet seat for winter on East Sideda' of biga' road and cold seats for summer time driving on westa' sideda' road. So, me thinks it gona' be winter timea eye will go to the easta sideda warm seat

So, Geri IFa' eye decide to fly north in my SSR eye will let U know soon as Gary (WearyEagle) has his Eagles straighten out on the correct flight to the right buca housa

Ken (PACBLUKEN) became a member today and will be coming to the Laughlin SSR Run driving his "new" that he got from Gregg Ducata.
He'll be driving to Mojave with me, so please add him to the Mojave meet group, Lloyd.
