Special Guest coming to the Beach Cruise

If all goes according to plan, I should be able to confirm by this weekend that we will have a very well known special guest coming to the Penticton Peach City Beach Cruise June 20 - 22.

ok ray,,you did this to us last year and it turned out to be #23,,,i'm sure iris won't be letting you buy anymore trucks for now and mike in az. is already signed up,,soooo i guess it will be mike joy,,,

#23 will be there, but no more trucks for me.

Mike Joy would be a great addition, but he's a wee bit busy with NASCAR in the summer. A pace truck leading the parade on Friday - that would be icing on the cake. Maybe Gmkarguy can make the trip from Texas. He's been officially invited. Can our down south friends from Arizona and California convince him to make the trip?????

That's the trouble with SSR people - not thinking outside the box. Did I, at any point, suggest that our special guest needs to be an SSR owner?

I might have mentioned this guest to Sandy, and she can hardly keep it to herself. She can now expect some PMs from the curious masses begging to be let in on the surprise. But then, it wouldn't be a surprise.

I'm off to Vancouver this weekend for the Home Show, and to do some house stuff research with Iris - Abbotsford World of Wheels is on, and I'm hoping to get there on Saturday. Peter and Cindy's Dragon is one of the feature cars.

You're onto something, but NOT. Last year, the Elvis Festival was on the same weekend. It's been moved to new dates. Otherwise you'd see good Elvis, bad Elvis, overweight Elvis, doesn't really look like Elvis Elvis and many others.

You could come and check it out for yourself. Someone from Texas would probably beat out the Arizona and California folks for Long Distance. And...someone from Texas could convince Gmkarguy to bring the Pace Truck.

If scheduling works out, it would be Saturday evening. We need to be back early Sunday, so not sure if we'll stay over in Abbotsford. If we're running late and trying to get home Saturday night, it may not work.

I'm hoping to have ................nope - that's too good a hint for now.

For the supersleuths out there, the cat's head is poking out of the bag tonight, so we can accelerate the hints.

Our special guest actually was involved in the creation of Pringles. There's a clue on the can.

He also was involved in the development of Boost (the nutritional energy drink)

Oh yeah - he also likes cars- Classic case of being able to do what he enjoys doing.
