Way to go! This is what we need. ONE thread to put ALL the photos and document the happenings, instead of having them scattered all over the forum.
"Catwoman" (Crystal) and I are leaving around 8:00 am tomorrow morning and will drive most of the way, spend the night, and then leave just a relatively short ride to Springfield on Sunday morning. That way we'll arrive still fresh and charged up!

On the road to Springfield - some of the combined CA, AZ & CO trek
1. Heading out from Winslow, AZ Saturday morning - note the beautiful blue sky!
2. This character followed us everywhere!
3. Just south of Joplin, MO Sunday afternoon - note the clouds. They will soon open (and they've seldom been closed since).
Number 3 is Alex (Alex05SSR) and it looks like you guys are keeping him busy while he attaches some of his flexible chrome trim around the rear fascia of another members truck.
hotrodgirl I know the names but just holding back to see what reaction I get from posting.
Buttman is useing tape to save SSR seats from bubble gum he had sat in somewhere.
Alex must have trimed 6 or 7 trucks last night, and his ride is surgically clean.
Can someone please give us a weather update for Springfield? I am about 3 hours west am experiencing heavy rain and numerous road closing due to flooding. Is the weather the same there? I am trying to decide whether to continue on or " take a rain check". gipper

Looks like the entire vicinity around Springfield is under a Flash Flood Warning. From the radar...looks like heavy thunderstorms to the west (around Joplin heading east). You might want to stay put behind these cells until they pass through the area. Refreshing the page will reload the graphic to current conditions.
