Mr and Mrs Wingrider would like to cordially invite all SSR Fanatic's, their friends and family, to join us on a spectacular cruise of a lifetime on Celebrity Cruises.
Celebrity makes "You the Star" as you sail away on the "Infinity" for four nights of pampered service. Enjoy spectacular dining, indulge in a spa treatment, and experience fabulous entertainment. We'll sail to the fun loving playground of Key West, and to the beautiful beaches of Cozumel, Mexico.
We are designating this cruise as a Fund Raising Cruise for Breast Cancer Research. $25 p.p. of your cruise fare will be donated to Breast Cancer, with Celebrity Cruises donating another $25 per cabin.
Come join us December 3, 2008 for a memorable fun-filled vacation. For more details PM Wingrider, or visit this link:
It's on my planning list.
I'll PM you with my mailing address in case you have any additional info to mail off.
Hello SSR Fanatics,Hal here:Toni and I took a eastern carribean cruise last year and enjoyed it immensely! Would love to go again, any chance of changing the date though, say after the first of the year?

Get your passport and extra large clothes. Thats a lot of time at sea and you will eat like royalty. As far as ..."after the first of the year" (HALSSSR) - There are numerous ships out of Port Canaveral, Palm Beach and Lauderdale that have 3-5 day trips for easy money right now. Gasoline prices are keeping people from driving and the Cruises are a great value such as this one being set up by Wingrider. Cozumel is beautiful and don't buy a hammock

Sorry, Celebrity doesn't do too many short cruises. This is the only date for the "Infinity". One of their other ships, "Century" does some short cruises in the winter but it is a smaller ship. The Infinity is larger, has some added amenities, and the pricing was better.
Yes, In January 2008 everyone will need a passport. Last I heard it was back to normal taking 6-8 weeks. However; that could change.

There are only a handful of us that could leave the R at home for that length of time. Besides, what would we have to talk about?: Let me think what we could do for four days...............eat, drink,.....eat, drink.........I may have to reconsider.

Big Brown Rule #1 at the Holidays : Even if you have time coming no one gets it between Dec. 1st thru Dec. 25 period, and don't even try to call in sick....
Anyone that doesn't follow the above rule will suffer the consequences in January when management has nothing to do....

The Infinity is a beautiful Ship. The wife and I sailed on it to Hawaii in March of 2003 from the west coast.
Its first class all the way and built more for adults which we liked!

My wife was looking over my shoulder last night and the title of this thread caught her eye and she thinks we should really check into it. We have been on several cruises and really enjoyed ourselves. We've kept in touch with some of the people we've met on previous cruises and started some great long distant friendships......(kinda sounds familiar). Hope to be able to make it.
Just to let everyone know that we are going on vacation 8th-Th (a cruise naturally) and if there are any questions about the cruise we will get back to you just as soon as we get home.
We are flying to San Juan to catch or ship and are going to meet fanatic Elvisa and see his signature series #11 SSR.

Sure hope they don't spend much time in Cozumel, as the only thing to see there is the Mayan ruins and that only takes about 12 seconds. Maybe things have changed in the last 15 years.
I just want to let everyone that is thinking about going on the cruise that Feb 1st is the deadline for your deposit to be in. If there are any questions don't hesitate to ask. this cruise is open to anyone, so bring your family and friends and remember it's a found raiser for breast cancer research, $25 of the cost per person will go toward research and the cruise line will also pitch in $25 per cabin.
