Thank You Maui Mike!

I received a tail gate today from my good friend Maui Mike, and it had a few goodies in it for Thumper I'll let her tell you what they are when she finds out.....

This tail gate has a lot of miles on it - ACRob shipped it to Mike a while ago, and it came back to the mainland today. It will be painted and have a new spoiler attached, to match Thumper's Bunny.

Maui Mike, I know you sold your SSR, but we go back a ways now.....you will always be a valued member of the Fanatics, and a personal friend.

Don't be a stranger buddy!

I'm hoping you'll stick around, Mike, you've certainly have been a source of good, and hard to come by, information.
Plus you appreciate '57s.

I've been trying to get to this and I apologize Mike.
Other than my personal love of this guy a major consideration is what he brings to the Fanatics from a knowledge standpoint.
Mike is a wealth of information, constantly surprising me with great pictures he has stockpiled as well as background information from days well before my time as a Fanatic.
I was unbelievably naive when I first came on board and he was the first guy to take me under his wing sending me cool pictures of mods and ideas. Since day one Mike has been a steady source and been a great help with my pursuit of SSR historical data providing contact names, numbers and general information which often leads me in a direction I had not considered.
So, not only do I love the guy, I need to continue to use and abuse him as I may never entirely exhaust the extent of his SSR knowledge.
Ya gotta hang around Mike!

My 1st day back on here after my I sold it thread & what did Thumper eat 1st post.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments!!! Lots of PM's and emails to answer. forgot Blue and Smokey where a comin' this way today. Anyone know where they are staying?

Kat's follow up MRI yesterday was good news, no surgery for now. I got a 6 month reprieve on the layoff. Will know more in October on the official status. The Hawaii Chairperson for the Senate Ways and Means Committee is working on it. There is nothing "mainland" normal about how anything is run here. Hawaii is an "at will" employment state, so very little job security. They reserve the right to change, alter, modify, your status, at any time, for any reason, with or without cause and/or with or without notice.

The truck is almost gone, so now I need something to drive. The system here is putting a 3-6 day hold on a Cashiers Check and Monday is a Holiday.
