Not sure where to post this but Jesse had asked me per our phone conversation today to let her know when Danny arrived safely home. He is here, Tater (our dog) is all over him so I guess I have to wait in line.

Well, as said, you can always drive it!

I had talked with someone about this for the Power Tour as well since it's always a long haul to get there for some. You can have your SSR shipped by a transport company, but that can be expensive because they have to keep driving all over to pick up 1 vehicle at a time and deliver them to one place at a time. However, if you have enough people to fill up a truck, the costs should be minimal. You make arrangements to be at the delivery location or have another Fanatic in the area handle the delivery for you. Since the truck leaves for only 1 destination, it should also take a lot less time for it to finally arrive as well, and there should be much less chance of damage.

Superb job of planning and putting in all the time

Debbie, I know what it takes to plan an event like this. I therefore want to tahnk you for all the time and effort you put into making it happen, I also want to tahnk Steve for giving up time with you so you could do this.
You did a great job, and I had an excellent time. I wish I could have spent more time with everyone.
Ray Hobbel, Thank you for supplying the Lot. I wish that someday I too can be financially secure enough to provide such a gift to the members.
It was great meeting the members and it would have been more fun if I had more time to spend with all of you.

Finally returned to Home Base Thursday. Wish I could have brought some of that rain I encountered in Ohio back to Florida. I would like to thank Deb for putting together a great event. A lot of hard work and you pulled it off without a glitch. Great Job... Also a big thank you to rhobbel (Ray) for getting the parking for us. Without that WDC would not be as great as it was. There has to be a return trip next year because I didn't get to see it all and sure didn't get to meet all the people there. Hopefully the co-pilot will be able to attend next year. Great job ya'll, it was a blast.

What a Sweetheart Golfer2-Tony

Got the mail today after work......with a package I wasn't expecting

Inside was this very cool one of a kind T-shirt made for me by this special guy I met at the WDC 2007 this year.........Tony (Golfer2)

Reading his note inside.......I choked up....and now the paper has a few tear drops on it I so enjoy running the WDC Event......it's in my nature to do these things and I don't expect anything in return. Yet this group somehow never allows that to happen!!! Each and every gift is very special to me that is received and I don't take it lightly....I take it to heart!!! You all have filled my life with so much warmth and appreciation......Thank You!

Tony I will wear the T-shirt proudly heading north tomorrow in my with my new HTRDGRL plate and this very sweet T-Shirt

Thank You so very much for the lovely note and the time you took into preparing this gift for me.

The photo was taking when my was parked on the front lawn at the HRG's Party (sneaky aren't we Love how the other SSR's are captured in the background......my first SSR Fanatic Logo T-Shirt, my own Redline w/ New plate on it.....doesn't get better than that

Hi Gang
After being home for two weeks and reflecting a bit, WOW what a weekend we all had in Woodward !
All the preparation that was done by Deb, her family, Windsupressor and the other un-sung hero's for our pleasure brought us a perfect weekend and we owe them all a big THANK YOU, as others have said in their posts, but I jsut had to say it once more !
Everyone meshes together so well, it's just amazing......it's funny, the Fanatics forum is based on our chosen vehicle, the SSR, but after the SSR's were parked, and we all got to talking, it became a close knit PEOPLE club.
THANKS to all of the members who were in attendance and those who could not attend but cheered us along in their absence.
..........can't wait till next year
