Well, this was my first RUN and what away to start it off. Great SSR owners, good friends and great time in Laughlin, NV. I have already started planning for next years RUN. Hope to see everyone in the near future, maybe even here in Las Vegas. Hope everyone got home safe and no damage to your "R".
About six cars and trucks behind the CHP block. Scooted over went down the on ramp backwards, got on Route 66 to the next on and it was like no one on the highway It was a single car roll over. Helicopter landed and picked up. Still got home in 3 hours Normally takes 4. Snow snow and a ice storm, 24 degrees. Think I'm movin to LAUGHLIN
THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE AND IT IS ALWAYS NICE TO MEET FANATIC NAMES WITH FACES

Sounds like me and triple R got through before they shut it down. The way the cop came across the center divider and lined up behind me, I though I was going to get a ticket to the ball.
Linda andI want to add our thanks for a great weekend. Special thanks to Smoky for arrange the golf. We are all ready planning our trip to Durango to hook up with new friends.SSR Fanatics Rule! ZL SSR
We were not lucky enough to miss the sand storms along I40 and CA58. Our SSR's hood has 10 new rock chips. I'm still finding sand in places it should not be.
We arrived back home around 8:00 PM Monday night with a grand total of 1325 miles traveled. We had a wonderful time in Laughlin! Thanks to everyone that helped put together this event!

guess we were lucky on Sunday, altho the rain cleared between Ludlow and Barstow the wind was truly howling but no sand...ground must still have been wet from earlier rains and we made it home with no sandblasting.

I'm glad you were finally able to make plans to stay the entire time...was nice meeting you and hope to see you at another event soon.
I've been to one small gathering up here at Anthem in PHX that was great prior to going to the Laughlin rally and I must say hats off to the organizers (not sure of all the names) and the rest of you fanatics that made it (even those that couldn't). You truly made me and my wife feel like part of the group with almost no knewbee jokes. The help, ideas and friendships will last us a lifetime. Plus my wife finally gets it! It's not just about the car it's about people that have fun with cars Just kidding, it's about friendship and helping each other out for no other reason but that we can but the cool cars are a bonus.
So Thanks to all and a special thanks to the organizers See you all next year and on up coming rallys.

Glad you had a great time as I did spending it with you and your money, perhaps if you didn't lay down such huge wagers, you wouldn't lose as much, but you seemed to do ok, hell you were darn near married at one point...
I also had a great hands-free ride from RRR in his SSR, Thanks Jeff for the treat, it was the only SSR I rode in all weekend and it was not
scary, quite the contrary.
Had alot of fun, made some new friends along the way.
some I drank with,
some I ate with,
some I gambled with,
some I joked with,
some I rode with,
some I drank with, some I drank wi...oh, I said that already. What happens in Laughlin, stays in Laughlin until someone opens their mouth.
Bought a few doo-dads at the show and shine, paid up a bet with BUBEAR
Laughed at Sidekick's sick humor and tried to hook him up with the pit boss, she WAS pretty.
Thanks everyone for not making fun of me showing up SSRless
Looking forward to next year, maybe Mrs. OP can make it and keep me out of trouble.

I thought the pit boss was Sidekicks fiance. What happened Jamie? Wasn't the wedding in like 3 weeks? Is that something like always a bridesmaid but never a bride??
