UV Owners First Weekend Run

Hi there, I posted something similar in the Ultra Violet Club thread. I am creating this thread because I was contacted by purpleflash ( Susie & Jim) about the possibility of getting the purples together for a weekend of sight-seeing and cruising. Nothing fancy or super expensive, as I know a lot of us have tons of runs lined up this year.

Here's the thing: the location, when it will be, and the activities are yet to be determined. The reason for this is we are trying to make it as centrally located to the interested members as possible.

This is what we would like to do: Get a show of interest from those that would like to do this event. You can reply to this thread, or the thread Ulta Violet Club, or you can PM me, PRPLHZE. What I would like from you would be your fanatic name, real name, and city and state you live in.

I will update this 1st post with the info, and in a couple weeks or so we will come up with 3 locations that might be of interest to everyone, and also centrally located. Then we can do a vote, and the majority wins. Once the place is chosen, we will fill in the rest.

If we even get a few interested members, this could be a great time, and a chance for the purples to show their stuff!!!! I look forward to hearing from you all.

Yup - may need to get the Revs Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson looking into this.

Oh wait - I could go to this one. Never mind. I guess if I can go they're not doing anything wrong.

Maybe check that the dates don't conflict with currently scheduled events, like the Penticton Beach Cruise, Woodward or the events in Colorado or Kingsburg.

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest yet.... hopefully we get some more purples!!

If anyone is interested but has different ideas, please post them. We are definitely open to suggestions!

I recieved a PM listing some scenic and "semi-touristy" places in northern Georgia, if that appeals to anyone. Also it has been suggested to do it in the fall, when its not as hot. Thats definitely an option too.

I don't know where your lawyer is, but when you find him, i want to file a discrimination lawsuit of my own.... it seems to me there aren't any male "exotic dancers" in your avatar

Heck you guys might as well do a lap.
Michigan to B.C., down to California then just a little right to Florida.
Finish it off in Kentucky for good measure.

thats a wonderful idea, Rebel.... but don't want to wear the UV's out on the very first run!!!! If it goes good, who knows? Maybe we could make an annual event of it. Complete with the patches and t-shirts you know i love!!!!

My Ricochet Silver will be totally disguised in Royal Purple for your visit to the Northwest where I will have an Awesome Booth set up selling SSR pins to all as you pass by my jealous eyes!!!

Hi Sue, thanks for helping to get the word out to your "purple people"

By the way, I'm interested in hearing about these SSR pins.... what do you got and how much do they cost? I'm always looking to add to my collection, so let me know!

P.S. If you were tickled purple instead of tickled pink, i could make an exception for your silver and by default you could come! ( just an idea, LOL)

Aww, I'm sorry Doug.... you're making me feel so bad.

However, I'm sure you "Blues Brothers" have runs, and I get left behind, am i right?

I hate to exclude anyone, as i love all the R's. I know most of you are teasing me, but I do have to say I hope no one is offended by the "UV only" requirement.

(hopefully the annual pumpkin run in houghton lake mi if we do that agin in september!!!! hint hint HRG)

I'm looking forward to seeing many of my friends, as well as meet many more new ones at these events.
