Weather for Laughlin Run?

Having never driven to Laughlin should we be concerned about a potential weather issue and is everyone still in from the Ontario area if weather becomes an issue. Thank You

Last year the Kingsburg Run had rain, snow, fog, pretty much all of the elements, and we had a great time. Four more days.....

HEADS-UP
The snow is supposed to start in Tehachapi today through Friday. Thursday/Friday being the worst. It takes only one screw-up on highway 58 and the Chips will shut it down. Just an update for all Northern CAL and anyone using 58 through Tehachapi. If the snow comes through, we will find ourselves sliding down the mountain or waiting till the road opens if they close it. Everyone be safe

not kidding but the extended forecast doesn't indicate snow for Friday so you folks coming over Cajon Pass and Tehachapi should be OK

Hope I don't need chains to get over Cajon Pass at 1 PM.

If there is snow I may be late for dinner.

Weather doesn't affect Caravan Schedules . . .

As will the caravan from Jack-in-the-Box in Mojave. Be there or Be Square. Built into my schedule (I'm sure Lloyd's also) is an allowance for unusually heavy traffic or bad weather. We'll be fine.

susiessr has informed me that due to surgery on her foot she won't be able to maintain the long runs, without a lot of breaks built into our schedules, so she most likely will not be running with us to Laughlin, but I'm sure she'll GET THERE SOMETIME. So anyone coming from Northern or Central California traveling East on 58, should skip the stop at Tehachapi and run straight to JITB in Mojave. Arrive at 8:00, we leave at 8:30 SHARP ! !

I put on my summer rims (after spending 4 evenings polishing them)

cleaned out my bed and my tool box

cleaned and shined the engine bay

cleaned the carpets, windows, shined up the rest of the interior

treated all the seals and cleaned all the jams

and polished the outside

it's all my fault
