A little Dawn in a bucket . . . suds that baby down good . . . rain rinses it off with "soft" water . . . pull it into the garage . . . dry it off. PERFECT ! !
If the rain also soaks you down real good as well you don't have to take a bath that week . . . EVEN BETTER.

Dwight...
looks like the 'snow showers' for here has changed to 'a few showers' for Thursday, may be no problems on the pass and Laughlin is only expecting a 30% chance of rain may take the E-Z Up if there is room

So true, Dwight . . . LT, a charter member of the Wild White Wine Women, has a very unusual [albeit convenient] memory at times. (e.g., the lobby of the Marriott at the Reagan Run and her own Christmas party) . . . of course there are 3 other members of this elite club, but now is maybe not the time (ask me at Laughlin though)

The snow is supposed to start in Tehachapi today through Friday. Thursday/Friday being the worst. It takes only one screw-up on highway 58 and the Chips will shut it down. Just an update for all Northern CAL and anyone using 58 through Tehachapi. If the snow comes through, we will find ourselves sliding down the mountain or waiting till the road opens if they close it. Everyone be safe
UPDATE ON WEATHER
According to our weather people we will have up to 10 inches of snow today. Snowed a little yesterday and the snow will continue through next Wednesday. I would call the 1-800-GASROAD number if you are trying to use the 58 pass through Tehachapi. Wondering if I could teach the "R" to fly Worried about getting out of here Friday but also coming home on Monday I could always put the on my broom BE SAFE

The "snow potential" on the 14 would be at the Escondido Pass at 3000' and is very unlikely. On the other hand, the "snow potential" on the 58 at the Tehachapi Pass is very real as its around 5000'. This run, west on the 58 from Bakersfield, through Tehachapi is the only thing that has my concern. I'm hearing on the radio RIGHT NOW of snow in the Grapevine (very similar elevation).
Once we get to Barstow the lower elevations and the desert take care of the rest of the trip with little chance of snow being a problem.
We also have the added advantage in that the lowest temperatures usually occur late at night to early in the morning before sunrise, and we're running during the daytime.
