What can you get for $40?

What can you get for $40?

Well if you’re smart enough to pay the $40 you can get.
A parking spot, that others pay $80-85 for along Woodward.
A great meal and open bar at a banquet.
Two chances’s to win a poster, 1 of 12 that are signed by 5 SSR designers / managers, and pace car expert thrown in.
The opportunity to be with great SSR fanatics and have the ability to buy cheep raffle tickets on great prizes. Denim jackets, tail gate chairs, die cast, shirts, coolers, pails of cleaning products, and so on.

That same $40 did put you in the neighborhood to buy your way into the SSR Team Banquet with many designers, managers of the SSR. Shoulder to shoulder to ask all those little questions that no one else can answer.

Best $40 I have spent since I bought the wedding ring.

Thanks Deb / Ray and their families for the Woodward meet experience.

Sounds like you had a great time, collected some good memories, and totally SCORED!

Great to read this feedback from WDC 2008! Good job, Debbie and Steve. (Sorry -graphically challenged. I don't know how to design a clapping graphic.)

100% I think we all had a great time, needless to say. Karen and I did anyway! Thank again to all those involved with putting this together year after year.

thanks

yes, thanks to debbie and ray for everything they did . ( which was a hell of a lot ) like rebel said, couldnt have spent $40. any better than we did.

i would like to add one thing and this has nothing to do with ray and debbie but why didnt whoever has the bob adams trophy, gas door or what ever offer it up to debbie to give to the long hauler ? kath and jim came from ft lauterdale, florida. that is one hell of a long drive and it would have been nice to give it to them. i know they didnt really expect it but it still would have been a nice gesture. WDC is a national event.

sorry, just my .02

A definite thanks to Deb & Ray. What a great weekend, just one request, slow down the clock next time. The days went by so fast. And what great weather to boot.

The award has to be requested from the current winner, maybe they were a bit busy and it slipped their minds

Yep it did slip my mind.......I'm usually good at not forgetting anything but I did compensate with the Flashlight Award and signed SSR Garage Poster from the Fanatics. I think we need to keep better track from both the event holder and last gas cap holder to be sure it is handed over to the next event.

$40.00

I was extremely impressed with the Gazebo the display of food and taste was outstanding. The chocolate covered strawberries on the tables when we arrived....coming to the table with the deserts and then they served cookies and coffee at 9:00 P.M. and the open bar for $32.00 per person. The room was beautiful with an attached Garden area and the location perfect!!!

The staff did a wonderful job
