Pre cruise cruise (it's not official until tomorrow)

We even had a local screaming at us to get off the road and go home until tomorrow!

Anyway... here's a few sightings during our trip up and down Woodward today.

Tomorrow's the big day.... and last 2 years, I snapped over 300 pictures each time. I expect to do the same tomorrow.

I gotta wonder if GY actually custom made the tires or not. I remember seeing on the tv show OVERHAULIN where they custom made some tires for one of the projects. All of the tread pattern was cut by hand on "blanks" - basically slicks with a thicker tread base intended for cutting.

I did some real quick googling and found this:

http://www.prototyre.com/index.htm

It's not that far away, and they should be able to reproduce them.

That's the "Chevrolet SS Concept" from a few years ago. They had it featured at the Chevy Triangle last year on Woodward. I hope to actually get up there tomorrow and see first hand the other vehicles they have on display (never made it the past 2 times up here).

Just happened to be walking past the GM Performance display whn all this commotion was happening.

Richard Waggoner was being interviewed by a throng of media, then did a quick exit driving the concept Camaro down Woodward.

Last shot is of Reggie Jackson's 640 HP Camaro.

Got the first couple of shots just for Art. That's an LS7 stuffed into the back end.

The photo of Art with a halo around his head is not necessarily representative of his behavior. Who brings their own cue halfway across the country????
